So, it´s spring, it´s May, and our beloved boys are supposed to get in the studio to record their latest (jazz?)epic with Ståle Solbakken based on the molde jazzfestthingy. Did anyone here attend the Molde gig, what can we expect?

Hej Elvin! Great to hear that Motorpsycho are planning to record the live energy from last years Molde gig together with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra. Is this information confirmed or are you assuming a recording date???

Yes, it's confirmed they will be in studio with Trondheim Jazz Orchestra and Ståle Storløkken this month to record some stuff.

But they haven't started yet, because today and tomorrow they're playing Helsinki and Tampere!

It hasn't been mentioned, but I'll mention it anyway: They are recording in the same studio where they recorded HMF (Propeller Studio in Oslo). KÃ¥re Vestrheim and Mike Hartung are engineers/co-producers, I guess.

Driving from Nydalen to Grünerløkka in Oslo, I just observed two old geezers and a younger dude heading downtown from Torshov, all three of them trønders. I guess it's recording time, then.
