      New from RG

      Motorpsycho in Rock-a-Rolla

Look out for a very nice four pages spread and fine interview with Bent in the new issue of UK magazine Rock-a-Rolla. Plus a news flash next week that will have fans from all over trekking to Oslo this summer. Stay tuned.

This made me tad curious to say it mildly.

        Oooh, exciting news!

I’m guessing they’ll headline either Oslo Live or Øya and play HMF in its entirety

That was my thoughts too. With Mattias Eick, Hanne Hukkelberg and KÃ¥re Westrheim on stage.

 Oh yeah! That does make sense too, because Eick, Hukkelberg and Vestrheim are all living in Oslo.

                According to their website:

Motorpsycho: Norwegian legends look back on two decades of rock, improv and Russ Meyer!

The mag also comes with a CD of nothing but artists/bands on Rune Grammofon. MP is represented with Riding The Tiger.

God yes, give us another Motorpsychedelic event at Øya, in the heat of an early august sunset. Also, Dude, make it a long one :)

Fuck Oya Festival, they should organise their very own event/festival, just like PHISH do. Just imagine a two day festival with the only band on the bill: MOTORPSYCHO!!!!!!!

Totally agree with Fillmore! An own event would’ve been amazing! It would’ve been the event of the year/decade!

I’ve also bought a ticket to Roskilde festival and is not keen on paying for another one, even though I usually consider Øya to be Norway’s best festival, artistically.

I have to agree – a “major” festival would not make psychonauts travel “from all over” even with guests. Except they’re picking up the ATP-principle of playing full albums ;)

But like fillmore said: Let this be an own independent event without all the pricy-mass-organization…!

Finally the tax money pay back with an evening with motorpsycho with friends in the opera

From Svartlamon to the opera? When pigs can fly.

Yeah, I don´t really think that will ever happen.

Also, It really isn´t very MP to play an “album gig” is it.

Something like a MP currated “festival” of sorts would be amazing.

                          (like Neurosis´ “beyond the Pale”)
