indigo already lists rw4 to be out in april:
MOTORPSYCHO "Roadwork Vol.4-Intrepid Skonk" (Stickman)
February 3, 2011 at 14:50 #18859Great! Can't wait! What the hell is a "skonk"?
February 3, 2011 at 15:13 #18860February 3, 2011 at 15:17 #18861cool!!!
February 3, 2011 at 15:38 #18862Yeah!
February 3, 2011 at 20:03 #18863Lol at one of the urban dictionary descriptions:
An especially sallacious woman who is prone to engaging in activities typically refused by the average skank, e.g. wearing a trashbag decorated with cum while giving Jared Leto a rim job
How the fuck someone could even think of such an example to describe the word "skonk" is way beyond me
Anyway, intrepid means fearless. And skonk is also a dialect version of skunk.
February 3, 2011 at 23:18 #18864there's a genesis song called Squonk http://www.urbandictionary.com/define.php?term=squonk but maybe there's not really a connection there.
February 4, 2011 at 08:32 #18865Do we know which show(s) or tour that is documented on Roadwork 4?
February 4, 2011 at 09:50 #18866no, unfortunatly nothing yet, maybe the tm-oya show from last year? i think everything is possible…
February 4, 2011 at 10:07 #18867i hope for a nice selection from the last tours with kenneth. tm-oya would be not my favourite rw4. but yes, everything is possible. i am really looking forward that album. (maybe triple vinyl??)
February 4, 2011 at 10:15 #18868In former interviews Bent was quoted as to be "going intensively through material of the Kenneth-era", so it might not be (only) the Oya-show.
February 4, 2011 at 10:32 #18869I think the we can rule out the Øya-gig. That was a one-time-only thing, and though it might (I hope) get an official release sometime in the future, it sounds like rw4 is going to document how they sound after Kenneth got house-warm. So I would put my money on 4 or 5 loong, loud and mainly new songs clocking in around 70 min. Unless it's a double. Or more.
February 4, 2011 at 10:51 #18870Exactly, I also expect Oya beside and a focus on "pure mp Kenneth-era" on double CD and triple vinyl
February 4, 2011 at 17:19 #18871Let's hope for Rotterdam 20/10/2008. It's my favourite show of the Kenneth era.
Outstanding setlist, great jamming, and a very respective audience will make for a great RW!
Teaser here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Op3vFSKalDk. I don't have the full show, but if anyone has this on aud/vid, please PM me for a trade.
Setlist:
1. Un Chien
2. Year Zero >
3. Glow >
4. Hogwash > Halleluwah > Hogwash
5. Taifun
6. She Left on the Sunship
7. Step Inside
8. Vanishing Point
9. Greener >
10. Flick of the Wrist
11. Little Lucid Moments
12. All is Loneliness
February 4, 2011 at 19:50 #18872Wow, thank you for the collage kippenhok! I found this show at the "Watt" extraordinarily good es well: worth a rw (except for the bloke who shouted at the end of all is loneliness, bummer) do you think there's more material available, even if audio only?
