Never noticed that but there is a squeeking sound on Psychonaut from minute six on (~6:10). What is this? It's on my vinyl and either on the version at soundcloud. 8O

Very strange. I ripped the vinyl and my first thought after listening was, oh, something went wrong by digitilizing, but it's on my Vinyl and on the Soundcloud version as well as i said before.
Sounds like some digital effects to me. I can hear some gloomy synth sounds in the background as well – my guess is this is either down to foot pedal magic or there's a 4th man on stage adding effects.
Could be some sort of an Oscillator thingy. Or a Pitch Shifter pedal, there's a blue one by BOSS that can do just that. Also there are Sitar simulator pedals. Since they play along the Beatles' "within you without you" at this very moment, a song that originally featured sitar, they might have wanted to add this sonic touch.
