June 16, 2015 at 20:13 #27917Never heard about such thing, even less seen.
Make a phone call to Sony Music Norway?
June 17, 2015 at 06:14 #27918Found some info at the local PK. But would love to see a physical copy. Don't think Sony would help as all of the usual suspects have left the company. Nor record companys usually dont have a clue of what they got in their catalouge (worked in a record shop for over 12 years)
June 17, 2015 at 08:07 #27919I think I have this at home.
Will get back to you with info later, Kjelli!

June 17, 2015 at 20:43 #27921Hi Kjelli.
My mind plays some tricks on me sometimes, I have four versions of TM on CD.
1: Emi Norsk A/S (7243 8310792) 1994
2: Stickman / Green Balloon (3324-2 / GB 004) 1994
3: Stickman Psychobabble 002B 1CD version (Blue Rose record company sticker on the back) 1995
4: Rune Grammofon 4CD box (RACD104) 2010
I also started wondering…hmm….Sony music in 1994? And I just had to admit that I don't know about this version. You probably know more than me, so I apologise for giving you false expectations.
June 18, 2015 at 05:58 #27922Motorpsycho changed company in and around 95, due to the people they worked with changed jobs. Their stuff was just licensed for a ltd time so I believe that Sony printed up a small batch of TM in 95 or so. Just need the physical proof. Have the cat no see above. got confirmed from Stickman that they didn't buy a batch from Stickman.

June 22, 2015 at 11:19 #27925Are you 100% sure that it isn't the Stickman edition distributed by Sony norway?
Even if it Stickman didn't sell a batch to Sony (or don't remeber), it doesn't mean that Sony Norway didn't get their hands on a few copies.
The fact that this is the only TM-listing on the PKwebsite(except the 4cd version) makes me think that this is the listing for the edition that have been sold for the past 20 years.
June 23, 2015 at 06:15 #27926Not sure at all, that's why I ask in the first place. Both the band and Stickman cant remember properly. But I do remember it was said that there were coming a Sony version when the band went to Sony. And the labels just licensed the stuff so it would be easy to make a new version when the EMI version was sold out. It was really fresh on the market and probably still selling, not a huge amount but enough to make it interesting to keep it on the market.
It might appear when we get the time to go through the band archives
June 24, 2015 at 06:25 #27927Well had a chance to go through Bents (Treasure ) chest of old cds etc and no TM on Sony. This means it might not exist but until I'm 100% sure the hunt is still on (Also been in touch with Sony Music to not much help)
