      Incomplete trivia time..

I don't know if this is common knowledge or if it is detailed in some obscure liner notes on Demon Box, but at the start of Sheer Profoundity there is an audio snippet of a woman asking "Anything I can do for you, Sir?".

This audio snippet is from a Star Trek episode, albeit slightly slowed down.

Which episode you ask? I have no idea. I saw a clip from this very episode by chance while reading an article in a norwegian paper (online) about Star Trek and connected the dots. I meant to post the link back then, but I did not for some reason.

I believe the "Sir" is Captain Kirk, but I am not 100% sure.

Anyone with a stronger google-fu game than me is welcome to try.

        Mystery solved.

The snippet isn't from Star Trek at all. Strange how hazy memory can be. Turns out the quote is from the first episode of the 1966 Batman show with Adam West, "Hi Diddle Riddle".

No mystery at all: Star Trek is everywhere. Its ingenuity pervades our generation's subconsciousness. :-)

"We all float down here" & "We All Float Down Here Too!" from Soothe & 8 Soothing songs for Ruth is taken from IT the original TV series (maybe also the book, but I haven't read it.
