Motorpsycho often talks about them selves as a kind of holy trinity drums + bass + gutiar = rock’n roll. This trinity has, in my opinion, its advantages and disadvantages. You can here the true “golden core” of the band nice and sparkling clean. On the other hand after several records and concerts I am not able to see the difference between God, Jesus and the Holy spirit anymore…No more trinity just a fuzz-soup served for dinner over and over again.

When BHBC was realeased I complained about the lack of power from the tractor bass god. With the arrival COTF the dynamic bass sound is truly back! Nevertheless the sound of the band is still too much “pudding” and needs more spice. What about a resurrection of the mellotron we heard in the good old timothy’s days or a little bit of theremin from Deathprod.

I really love the build ups of the new songs and think they have improved on the vocal front. Can’t understand those who miss the single-Bent-flat-tone-way of singing. Snah is a great singer.

Although i wouldn’t refer to them as “fuzz Soup”, i understand what you’re sayong, and i miss it too! The Mellotron is such a powerful instrument (which i use regularly myself), and i bet that it would have lifted the songs even more! But the piano is cool too!
