Nice clip of the best song ever! Too bad it’s so short! Can’t wait for tomorrow…
særinger!
There’s been for ages live MP version of Starless here on this very website: Click here! Crappy sound, but the only MP version I have heard.
When it comes to Crimson live vs studio of Starless, I gotta say the USA live version beats the crap out of the Red studio version. One reason only: on USA, the super tacky saxophone is omitted!
I would love to hear a MP version in good quality – live or studio!
hope they’ll send it on NRK HD!
I wonder when they’ll play so I can get my day ticket for Timothy’s live. I bet Air will headline wednesday and Pavement thursday. My guess is that MP will headline friday or saturday as there’s not any obvious headliners those days. I really want to see Air and Pavement too, but don’t feel like spending more than one day at Øya, and Timothy is my priority this year.
I attended the Fredrikstad gig. The light show was amazing, but those vimeo clips is nothing compared to seeing it live (a mix of Floyd-ish lazers and Lynch-ish scary animated faces). The music was great too, especially the two MP tunes they played – really groovy. I’m not too much fan of the parts that were too far out there, like when the drums went as fast as possible in a non-groovy uh, groove and the instruments just made sounds, but when the two bands made structure and built it up to climax – amazing!
All in all a good concert, but I think it would be a way better concert if it was loosely based on MP tunes (read: a semi improvised MP concert with Supersilent as backing band, like the two songs they played), but that’s just my opinion. I had a good time, but the Fredrikstad audience wasn’t really into it. The bands made ready for an encore, but the clapping was too uninspired. For a first time for me, an MP concert without encore.
Those who said it was a bit too loud, buy yrselves some expensive ear buds like me – the sound was exellent! They take care of yr ears and makes the sound even better!
It arrived my mail box today! Haven’t listened to it yet though. It’s funny how they call X-3 KÃ¥res Kommærs-klipp (Kaare’s commercial/sellout edit)!
No, I haven’t I’m afraid…
I voted
1. Demon Box
2. Timothy’s Monster

Quote:I wonder if Motorpsycho like the Cure anyway…I read somewhere that Bent had this favorite Cure album (dunno which), but he can’t listen to it anymore because he played it to death after a break with some girl. Most be many years ago…
http://www.sendspace.com is an easy and free site to share files. I don’t care if it’s edited, I just want to hear it!
Quote:there is a 96 or 97 gig on the net, which they end with Fool’sGold and Nathan’s Tune and it’s brilliant. After a quite loud and energetic gig it becomes totally hypnotic and grand. Sounds not so spectacular on paper but oh it was.How did they play Nathan’s? On record it’s just Deathprod and his layers of guitars looped.
Please share the recording if you have it (at least that tune).
