For non-Norwegians: I contacted Stickman, they're working on it as well.
On the 'something exclusive' thing, Trust Us will celebrate its 20th anniversary in 2018 and it's the next album in line in the chronology of their studio output to be re-issued as a 4-5 cd box set. Just thinking out loud…
2 sets would be nice: Trust Us and The Tower in their respective entireties…
Hypersomniac has been announced for the first time in early 2016 or so, about time something's being released…
A facebook post from 13 March 2016 shows 12 pictures of (part of) the collective in the recording studio: https://www.facebook.com/hypersomniacproject/
I'd go for Heavy Metal Fruit and The Tower for both of them. HMF did the trick for me, back when I was heavily into prog rock, so if HMF is able to convert me to more stoner stuff, it DOES the trick HMF got me more and more into stoner so I'm quite (very much actually) excited by The Tower as well. Some heay riffage in both (Bartok, Dream Home, WBAT, X-3, Starhammer, I could just name all the songs…)
Lacuna/Sunrise – Black Sabbath's Laguna Sunrise (Vol. 4)
I.M.S. = Inner Mouthing Shame – Mahavishnu Orchestra's Inner Mounting Flame debut album (I know for some reason Kenneth Kapstad is a big fan)
Gullible's Travails – Gulliver's Travels by author Jonathan Swift. Part of the title of the satire has 'Captain of Several Ships' in it, which is often referred to in MP's back catalogue (Ship of Fools, Hollow Lands, other stuff from The Death Defying Unicorn…)
Cool thread!
Brussels 29.10.17. Also attended St Niklaas 26.10.17.
@Juergen, Neverland was also played at 2 Days Prog + 1 festival in Italy early September
11 since August 2013 (Nirwana Tuinfeest, NL). 7 with Kenneth, 4 with Tomas.
Oh okay, other-than-Nowegian countries then
First Vortex Surfer appearance this tour! ♡
Along with K9, HMB2, The Wheel, Gullible's Travails (kidding). Sorry, can't recall the entire setlist. Honestly I preferred this show way better over the St Niklaas one (which was already great). Wow what a trip!
@crosskip unfortunately not. Amsterdam and Zwolle are a bit too far when there's St Niklaas and Brussels closer by and I already have other plans during the Tilburg gig tomorrow. My god, I want to forward the clock for 12 hours right now! Feeling this!
I'm attending both shows and will have 3-5 friends with me, we could meet up!
Sold!
I was there as well. Enjoyed it massively, maybe even more so than their gig at Krach am Bach about a month ago. Had an unbiased ear towards Neverland, because I didn't know the song that well and I liked it. Theme de Yoyo was awesome. They had no guests on stage, only the three of them. The night before Snah told me at the bar that they'll perform as a four-piece during the upcoming tour. Maybe Alain Johannes is joining them? He's mentioned on the new album playing "messenger guitar", "cigar box guitar" and flute… Would be awesome…
Now we all come to know what A.S.F.E. stands for
