There is a certain type of male archetype that seems to never disappear. The self-obsessed, blustering, overconfident buffoon that is seen as extremely charismatic by some, but makes life difficult for everyone else, is a well known cliché, and results from his actions are predictably almost never benefiting anyone but him, if he’s lucky.
George Armstrong Custer seems to have been one, but these guys all resemble each other. There are e.g. several in modern populist politics, and the idea of being at their mercy is not something we, who are immune to his charm, are able to cherish.
‘Long Hair’ was a bit of a chancer who got himself and his brother and several hundred others killed at Little Big Horn. Is there a Big Horn awaiting these new Fannys and their followers too? What will these last stands be?
May is usually a time when they do a proper tour…
an exclusive show in the netherlands? so a one off show in spring? sounds unusual for them…
