This band is eternal!
So Edgars bathtub on the soundrack, rings a bell…
And both this ships in 10 days! What Will be the best option, Will It be on the international (EU) store? Only 500 vinyl or both vinyl and cd? confusing.September 22, 2025 at 19:49 #44766Ok got my answers on the store, it says;
Preorder // Ships 03.10.2025
Ahsol Caravan (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack) is a CD only release. It comes in 977 copies.
*********
Motorpsycho’s “Child Of The Future” (2025 Remaster) is a meticulously crafted repress limited to 500 vinyl and cd copies in 2025.
September 22, 2025 at 20:06 #44767Child of the Future on CD and digital formats?! What is this heresy?!
Very curious about the soundtrack tho!
September 22, 2025 at 20:10 #44768It was only a few months ago since I bought the old version of CotF, I haven’t gotten around to listening yet. Going by the Ozzylot preview track on bandcamp, does this new remaster really sound that much better?
September 22, 2025 at 20:43 #44769From what I hear on bandcamp I’d spontaneously say it sounds lots better than the original (first) white vinyl release. I was never really satisfied with the sound of that one.
Btw.: That Wiesbaden gig in 2019 obviously left its imprints in some motorpsychedelic minds. Remember “the Other Fool”‘s locally adapted finale: “Chill out to Xhol Caravan”?

September 22, 2025 at 21:33 #44771I agree, I also think it sounds a lot better! I always loved this album so having it with better sound quality is great. Ordered both the cd as the vinyl.
Also: what a pleasant surprise, a new “soundtrack” album! And shipping so soon! And after the Small Boats compilation another cd only release. Interesting.
September 22, 2025 at 23:06 #44772Would like to hear your guesses
Child of the future is the first of several ltd ed NFGS reissues from the Motorpsychodelic Archives that reuses parts from earlier pressings. These editions are by their nature small since the parts reused are few in number, but in an effort to keep supply up with demand and to not waste and pollute more than what is unavoidable in this process, this policy will continue alongside regular new releases and other, standard reissues. Digital media is not limited in any way.
September 23, 2025 at 07:48 #44773FYI
LP + CD + shipping on Bandcamp : 72.78€
LP + CD + shipping on international MP store : 54.97€September 23, 2025 at 09:51 #44774I eagerly/stupidly klicked the link and ordered the “Ahsol Caravan” CD from Bandcamp last night before bedtime, just to find it in the “international” store this morning, which would have saved me some VAT+shipping money :/ Can’t blame anyone but myself, though.
September 23, 2025 at 11:31 #44775Damnit i made the same mistake. But anyway, i am looking forward the soundtrack a lot 🎶
September 23, 2025 at 13:14 #44776Maiden Voyage perhaps..? Still need that one.
Looking forward to the Soundtrack. Guessing weirdo 60s instrumental psykelia. Uncharacteristic of MP for a CD only. Hopefully not a trend, but guess that’s a lot cheaper to produce than vinyl.
That said: Shipping for a single CD in Norway – 150 spenn…. hvafaen? Hopefully they don`t use all that to send me a CD, but buy them selves an ice cream with at least two scoops with the change.
September 23, 2025 at 14:20 #44777At last!
September 23, 2025 at 20:23 #44778Glad to see that they are still cooperating with the legendary director Theo Buhara. 977 copies – that’s the same number as the initial run of orange CDs of the soundtrack they made for that other Buhara film, back in 1994.
September 23, 2025 at 20:24 #44779Thanks for the feedback on the improved sound quality!
I stupidly bought the new vinyl from bandcamp, wanting a digital copy too. Had I bought from the MP store I could’ve gotten the cd as well for almost the same price it seems.
