I don't know Audacity but sometimes I use Wavelab to even out the max levels from mixed sources. I wouldn't fiddle with the dynamics within the songs though. Then again I don't have a car.
Anyway, good job. I consider myself quite sensitive to the issue of hotmastering but I feel you were careful there.

Spacey guitarscapes and deathdefyingbrütalmetal with probably the fastest double bassdrum I've ever heard. They were the opening act last night, played for hmmmm say somewhat around 50min. Good fun.
Adrian Belew Power Trio are brilliant. He and very young siblings on drums and bass. Saw them in a small cozy club. Good fun. Very recommended.
did you master this stuff somehow? or is my record player setup so weak? i wonder because…. maybe it's my pc set up with the tannoy speakers, here I hear things and frequencies I haven't heard before. especially in Lighthouse Girl 8O
great job and thanks for sharing! I think i've never heard Nature's way before.
Uh I like Battles.
Friend of mine just saw HalloGallo and was quite impressed.

SIMPLE MINDS!
ok….
one more moment….
well I guess the first shock has ebbed down about now, so now we can talk. No really, I discovered something for myself again like last year when I found how brilliant early Genesis were. Simple Minds were once a very visionary and creative band. I’m old enough to remember their mid to late 80ties mainstream hits and I admit I actually liked some of them and never got into their early stuff. But now, oh my… especially the albums Real to Real Cacophony, Empires And Dance and Sister Feelings Call. That last one is hard to find on vinyl (and not at all on CD) so one has to get the weaker Sons and Fascinations CD on which it is featured as kind of bonus album. But only on the 2003 re-release in its entirety, mind, which adds up to 15 songs. There’s an earlier release omitting 2 tracks, and those were not the worst.
Traces of Kraftwerk, Bowie, Roxy Music, Frippy guitar work and lots of nice atmospheres, grooves and soundscapes are very present.
So here’s some from REAL TO REAL CACOPHONY:
