The gig was just about two hours. Snah looked ecstatic and a bit crazy by the way
Very nice gig! What other band can play two songs from an vinyl only record, and a b-side from a limited edition vinyl single and get the whole crowd pumped? I think the set was supposed to be an hour longer, saw the guitartech go away with a hagström swede just after he had switched the amps on and then off and when he came back they started.
Who`s going to Bergen?
Hope they`ll sell the single in Bergen this Friday!!
With your bone tight skin and your amphetamine eyes
you could spellbind any one to see sunshine in your eyes
but I have seen you way too many times before
and I’ve seen you crying, knocking on your boyfriends backdoor
and that light,that ain’t sunshine ,babe ;
It’s your lifelight burning down
There’s a mad sun burning on that azure sky
but those are deep pools and no fun hollow lies
that breathes to life the memories of your childhood glades
and that rends the beauty from your skin and leaves you pale
and that light ,that ain’t sunshine ,babe ;
it’s your lifelight burning down
would you care if I told you how I feel?
was that look I saw even halfway real?
would you laugh and just leave me here to break?
too proud to bend,I would only crash and burn like a
mad sun
Heading for Bergen!
Amazing gig last night! Good sound nice lights and not too long of a set!
Fast and kinda funny “Hogwash”.
They filmed it all, at least 1 cam left of the stage and I think they had a few more at other angels too..
Well, lists do change over the course of life …
Kinda surprised that Sun Ra didn´t make the cut, as I´ve read that Snah has “most” of his record on vinyl.
From runegrammofon.com:
“Motorpsycho in Jazznytt and Norway Rock Magazine
There´s a five page spread on Motorpsycho in the Norwegian jazz magazine as well as an ecstatic review from the editor. There are also interesting Top 10 albums from each member, Bent´s however goes to 11, naturally… Also there´s a pretty good six page interview in Norway Rock Magazine as well as a top, 6/6 review.
And if you don´t already know it, “Timothy´s Monster” has been voted the album to be performed at the Øya Festival in August.”

Bent is saying about playing TM:
I really need a teleport to get back to who we were and how we tought back then.
But it will be interesting for both MP and the fans for sure.
..and who will be on stage?
Personnel om TM:
Bent Sæther: Vocals, bass, guitars, mellotron, drums, percussion, piano, sitar, synth bass
Hans Magnus Ryan: Guitars, vocals, piano, percussion
HÃ¥kon Gebhardt: Drums, banjo, percussion
Lars Lien: Piano, wurlitzer, hammong organ, vocals
Helge Sten (Deathprod): Theremin, mellotron, samples, synthesizer
with:
Øyvind Enger: cello on “Sungravy”
Lars Mølna: viola on “Sungravy”
Øyvind Brandtsegg: String arrangement on “Sungravy”, vibraphone on “The Golden Core”
Anneli Drecker: back. vocals on “The Golden Core”
I think this is the longest album ? (96:49 min), will certainly be longer live, 2 hours + …?
It would have been kind of a bummer if they played 8 Soothing Songs for Rut or Barracuda…
I`m confused…
Really? where did you get that??
I know he’s pressing some more Elephant9 and Shining, but the 7″?? so much for limited pressings..
