      Got my tickets for borderline!

But are they playing more shows or just that one? Mean Fiddler? Barfly?

Yeah, he opened for them sometime in the early 00’s too.. It was nice, but I remember thinking it was strange that he didn’t join them for Plan #1 later in the show (and True Middle too…?). They used the usual recordings instead.

I’m going to the releaseparty tomorrow at Bastard Pub. Thrashgrass has always been my favorite kind of music, so I might as well check them out!Anyone else going?

This wasn’t too hard! Only Demon Box vs. AADAP made me consider.Went for AADAP, not because I like it more, but because I figured Demon Box would get most of the votes anyway. Sucks that Phanerothyme had to go this early.. But cup is cup!

Thanks ALOT to the guilty party. Did a few checks, and the audio sounds good. Now I’m saving it for some alone time so I can lie down on my sofa with my headphones and listen to this amazing show again..

Finally a proper internetconnection.. Back from Oslo now, and wow. what to say.. I think a few of you’ve pointed out my main thoughts about the show already. The opening hour was fun, not bad at all, but still there was something missing (but that is because of the nature of the songs I think..) The opening was nice, and when they started Feel I went in to a mindset of hapiness and nostalgia and total peace of mind that lasted throughout the show. A state only added to by what was missing from the first hour: the total mindfuck that came along from Now it’s time to skate and onwards.

Kenneth & Geb on drums together sounded great. The wheel was probably one of the coolest things I’ve ever heard. Snah screaming on grindstone. And a beautiful GC too. Thank you, Hanne! That song really needs the female harmony.

To sum up, magical evening. Both musically and emotionally (Great to see Geb, Helge and Lars together with them again, the birds, the fireworks, the monster discoball etc. etc.)

Nice to meet some of you guys too, even if it was only in the passing.

I also got my hands on one of the limited shirts, I was fortunate enough to be by the merch-table when the boxes arrived. I guess they were torn away pretty fast..

(Nice vids by the way, Traktor! Gotta get me an Iphone..)

Only thing I have to complain about is that I wish they could have played an hour or two into Demon Box before they realized the “wrong record”-error :D

I think I’m going too. Was planning a London-trip this fall anyway. Let’s hope the two dates are close to eachother. Can’t wait to see elephant9!

If The Wheel is too long, the ocean is too wet.

Yes, but only a few apparently. Geb will mostly stick to banjo and acoustic guitar.

Probably Giftland.. Maybe The Wheel.. It’s gonna be fun either way!

haha.. Love the comments about Spellemannsprisen. They were abit harsher in their statements when they were younger! Suits them.

God what an emotional rollercoaster-ride these last few days have been! I got my ticket for Øya this spring and have looked forward to this since, but I didn’t get my planetickets in time.. So to cut a long story short, one week before the show I had no money and no planetickets, so it started to dawn on me that i might have to pass on the Monster and sell my tickets to the show. Gaaah.. Depression and selfloathing!!

But then it turns out I have the most wonderful girlfriend in the world who secretly managed to get a hold on some money and some planetickets this morning, so I’m back in the game and can celebrate my 25th gig in the only proper way, at a MP gig (and no ordenary MP-gig either!)

Looking forward to see you guys there, I’ll call you TraktorBass..

Supernaut, I think the easiest thing for you would be to ask some fellow nauts here. There are alot of couches in Oslo:)

Haha, keep it coming guys! They are really on a roll these days. If they announced a tripple-cd with all new material, in a special box that glows in the dark and smells when you scratch it (with a limited edition foldout inflatable-Kenneth K.)to be released within two weeks I wouldn’t be surprised!
