Riding the Tiger was great for me, then wanted Whole Lotta Diana next, but Ozzylot was okish. The Comeback is a favorite from the record, but as you mention new songs don’t work that well live for some reason. The Gaia 2 issue is indeed strange. A fine version of Lady May.
No songs from the Tower triology played unfortunately.full time drummer is likely needed for the health and well being between gigs and recordings
The best thing would be the max set of changes: new full time drummer, new guy on keys/guitars/whatever, a proper horn section and new female lead vocal or side kick to perform some blasting duet gigs
This can mean many things and MP can go in many directions: pop style like Phanerothyme et al, avantgarde/postrock or country. Most likely it’s just a new fulltime drummer which is of course based in Trondheim, hence there are not that many candidates.
Would be very surprised if any larger changes happen, like Reine being absent on the 2027 record.
Everyone knows about Slomosa by now!?
For those who don’t this is a mandatory view:
Super nice remaster, a very fine gesture to both Steve Albini, Kenneth and us
Let it be more! Releasses are vailable bandcamp now.
Coming to tidal&spotify soon?that guitar intro is shamelessly stolen from Loch Meaninglessness from Yay! Same key and all.
Maybe it’s opposite

There wasn’t a lot of love here for either
The Comeback or Three Frightened MonkeysThe first track that got my attention was TFM, the second was Comeback
Both were superb live, played the usual MP way, like in the old days. It’s a tour special for now, will appear at web site later (if any left).
Older men with a younger geb, it works!
Vegard is right, location must be somewhere else, maybe Stavanger (hometown of J. Harstad). In fact I also get a n Italian feel, can’t be true?)
The ending had a really cool vibe of Morgenstjernen, a sci fi-ish novel series written by Karl Ove Knausgård.
Brygga is 19/10.
Picked up at record store, so they indeed exist
Wait some days and it will show up.
