October 15, 2022 at 09:10 #40709What a band! The Drammen shows just seem to always be sooo good! Even if the audience sas just a litte bit chattier than usual at Union. Can’t wait for tonight!
October 15, 2022 at 10:35 #40710Trio gig?
October 15, 2022 at 10:43 #40711Indeed a trio gig. Bent presented all 3 as Reine Fiske 🤣

October 15, 2022 at 21:50 #40714@paolinogrande: “What a band!” – I used the exact same phrase when texting a friend after the concert. One of the most enjoyable MP-shows I’ve been to in a couple of years. The sound was good, the mood was good, and their choice of songs was excellent. I tend to enjoy it when they offer something from the early 90s, and to get both Mountain and PLan#1 was a treat.
I was standing by the mixing board, behind someone who listed all the songs played on his phone. Was this you, GBD, seeing that you posted the setlist so soon after the show finished?
There is a slightly longer review on my blog, in case anybody feels like practicing their Norwegian: https://kulturguffen.blogspot.com/2022/10/motorpsycho-union-scene-drammen-14102022.html
October 17, 2022 at 14:56 #40724@kjesso: Could be. Wasn’t by the soundboard, but was wearing a dark blue hoodie. Then again i suspect i wasn’t the only one writing the setlist down. AMAZiNG show. Think it’s one of my top 3 shows so far (nr 18 im total). For a band to sound this good 33 years in is simply stunning 🤩🍾🤩

June 11, 2024 at 21:29 #42881Is this from this gig? I’m very confused! Michael Green put a bit on Facebook – now gone. This is from his YouTube, but some of the labelling is contradictory. However I know a brilliant drum fill when I hear it! And those things are being thoroughly pounded!
June 11, 2024 at 21:50 #42882This reminds me why i was so damn sad when Tomas left. Delivered years of epic concerts, pushing the band beyond their limits and contributing to records that really stand out in their catalogue. Yes he is a bit to tight every now and than, but overall one of the greatest out there.
June 12, 2024 at 09:13 #42883When I heard the news about Tomas departure I felt straight out angry. How could they possibly not keep him on board, Million Dollar Drummer, driving the band beyond the universe. Although I love Yay, MP to me hasn’t been what it could be ever since.
June 12, 2024 at 22:58 #42892Tomas plays on Yay 😉
June 13, 2024 at 07:52 #42893Even tough I was sad about Tomas departure, I fully enjoyed the shows with Ingvald and see no lack in quality at all.
June 13, 2024 at 12:06 #42896Yep – Ingvald filled the gap brilliantly. So I don’t see any potential loss in gig quality. A regular drummer in the rehearsal room might however lack for developing new stunning material – we’ll see…
June 13, 2024 at 13:06 #42897Good but wouldn’t say brilliant. Really like Ingvald & enjoyed the gigs with him. His bands Kanaan & Full Earth are awesome. Still Tomas + MP chemistry & skill & cosmic wise to me is a way different league. Plus I like it when they appear as as threesome in stead of two plus various. Agree with Johnny on the rehearsal room.
