I'm assuming, based on kjellepelle's comment, that I'm not the only one not to receive a copy yet?
I suppose they received more orders than anticipated and are struggling to keep up with demand.
Viscount GriSnah?
Second show: no encores. Sound also so-so on the 2nd row. But the show was awesome!
Sounds like some digital effects to me. I can hear some gloomy synth sounds in the background as well – my guess is this is either down to foot pedal magic or there's a 4th man on stage adding effects.
@otherdemon: There's a soundboard of Bielefeldd 2008?? Well, there's another recording that passed me by.
Thanks for the recordings! Really looking forward to giving them a listen!
Soundboard of a MP gig – when was the last time? Do we even have another complete soundboard gig with Kenneth in the band?
You could try downloading Trader's Little Helper: http://tlh.easytree.org/.
When I check for SBEs (Sector Boundary Errors, as I understand it they occur when tracks are not cut precisely on the boundary between two sectors. This creates a tiny portion of "dead" air on the end of one track and at the beginning of the next. This might be the source of your problems) I notice that it is present in a couple of tracks. Fortunately, this can easily be fixed with Trader's Little Helper. Just click and drag to TLH and choose "fix SBEs". You should probably copy the files to a new folder before doing this, as it will change the original files. Afterwards you can encode to mp3's as usual.
(VLC is a great player though – among other things it will try to play back even partly corrupted files or files with errors in them.)
EDIT: I notice the torrent has been removed from dime now, as well.
Which is why Dropbox would be a great alternative for spreading the files around, as it can easily handle larger file sizes.
If you go via Dropbox I'd be happy to upload it to Dime or Motortrades for you.
Close your legs?
Thanks a bunch for your efforts, casale! Listening to the recording now.
Yes! The wait will soon be over for the amazing encore-bonanza on the Italian leg of the TDDU tour!
And here I was planning a nice compilation called "The Death Defying Encores".
You know, Casale, all recordings are welcome – listenable or not.
Seriously? 8 encores?!
Guess they've heeded the people complaining that the TDDU shows are shorter than "regular" MP gigs.
