On A Plate next! Slightly reworked, too!
After concideration I decided to buy a ticket for the early show as well
Far up on Balcony #2. Will be nice to se how the sound in the Opera turns out.
I'm not sure if Motorpsycho have any plans for a US tour. Sure, they've been getting some attention lately (like David Fricke giving a really positive review of their latest album), but they've stated that logistically it's hard to put together such a tour.
The last time they toured the US was in 2008 on the Little Lucid Moments tour (and even then they only played 3 cities, Columbus, Louisville and Chicago)
But nice to get new fans aboard! Motorpsycho has a huge & diverse discography that's just waiting there to be indulged in
Their current distributor in US is Forced Exposure. And they sell the vinyl editions as well (though I haven't checked the prices).
Haha, awesome! Love that you got Bent's missing tooth, which was his 90's trademark until he got it fixed some years ago. Snah crushing the coffee cup is also great.
That cover would be better fit for Russ Meyer's Motorpsycho
I'm not sure. They released like 6-7 songs from the Ringnes 2003 concert on a split vinyl LP. But they didn't play Ringnes in 2004 AFAIK.
So either it's a typo, and the live version is from Ringnes 2003. Or it could be one of those 7 known performances from 2004, only camouflaged as Ringnes. I think some concert venues want an economic compensation if you use their name in this context. Maybe Bent just wanted to avoid that?
I didn't record it. I'm not sure if NRK's streams are possible to record.
Nice documentary, though. Good interviews with Bent, Snah, Geb & Deathprod (not sure if these were old or newly made interviews)
Biggest newsflash: If they had recorded a couple more songs at the sessions, then LTEC/Barracuda most likely would've been a double album (quote Bent)
Ok, so it's a live-version on the Sorgenfri CD? Kewl.
I think it's an outtake from the 2nd Tussler album. Because according to Dampsaba, they played this song 7 times on the 2004 Tussler tour (including Rockefeller where I saw them, although I don't remember this song at all  ) I'm not sure if any of those performances were bootlegged.
I'm really hoping the studio version pops up in one form or another.
Another related gig announced:
Action Jazz featuring Snah – Friday August 31 @ Victoria Nasjonal Jazzscene, Oslo (NO)
NOTE! Free admission!
Line-up: Kjetil Møster (saxophone), Per Zanussi (bass), Per Oddvar Johansen (drums), Snah (guitar)
There is one picture from that concert featured in the picture section of this page.
Thanks for the corrections!
Some more clips:
The Hollow Lands (with Bent intro speech)
Hogwash
Yeah, that's right, Vegard.
Here's the vid for that one (was it this one they played last night?):
Yeah, I don't think I've seen Bent use that bass before. Must be new. Looks like a Fender Precision, at least.
Some nice pics before tonights Madrid gig:

And a nice one from the gig itself:

Thx to the people who uploaded these pics on their Twitters.
