Edelman: If you make a little bit of editing, like removing the last 3 mins of applause + the first 30 secs which is basically silence, then it should just about fit a 80 minute CD.
The press release in its entirety:
I love how they call the Nidarosdomen concert a "generalprøve". It will also be partially re-arranged for Oslo.
Only 600 tickets available, one of them belongs to me

With the tracklist (Psychonaut/Go To California/Whole Lotta Diana/Come On In/Sheer Heart Attack), it's hardly likely that it sucks
I've only heard Sheer Heart Attack (from a bootleg), and that one falls under the category "lotsa fun". Esspecially if they included the funny spoken intro by Bent.
The remaining 4 tracks I haven't heard.

Do you need to bring an adult if you're under 18 or something? No, it means that if you purchased a ticket, you can bring a friend for free! That's the way I interpret it at least. It shouldn't be 18 year age limit, because I highly doubt that they'll sell beer or liquor in church  Maybe red wine and crackers
November 5, 2011 at 07:56 in reply to: Motorpsycho feat. Ståle Storløkken @ Nidarosdomen, Trondheim 02.11.2011 #20581Oooh, the description made my mouth water:
For å markere at Motorpsycho gjør storeslem på Morgenbladets Topp 100-liste, med hele 5 album på lista, så fremfører bandet et helt nykomponert verk, for bl.a. kirkeorgel. En helt spesiell og once-in-a-lifetime opplevelse i selveste Oslo Domkirke. Ledsager gratis.
And btw, ticket already ordered  Sale started today!
November 4, 2011 at 19:33 in reply to: Motorpsycho feat. Ståle Storløkken @ Nidarosdomen, Trondheim 02.11.2011 #20579Nope, not confirmed yet. But I think it will be on this page when/if it gets confirmed.
November 4, 2011 at 10:27 in reply to: Motorpsycho feat. Ståle Storløkken @ Nidarosdomen, Trondheim 02.11.2011 #20571Hehe. They would barely even fit the church organ inside UFFA

WOW! I gotta see that! When are tickets on sale? Is it Oslo Domkirke they're playing?
November 4, 2011 at 09:17 in reply to: Morgenbladet Top 100 Best Norwegian Albums Of All Time #20172Yeah, sad but true. That's the curse you get when you have several classic albums: The votes get spread around, instead of getting concentrated on that one special album.
But Timmy should've made the top 10, at least.
The top 10? Block To Block, Materialtretthet, Kjøtt 12", Hunting High & Low, Fairytales are pretty much "bankers". Suser Avgårde and Juba Juba are contenders too. And with the exception of Hunting High & Low, all of those bands/artists are basically one-hit wonders who made that one remarkable album they could never top later.
But the biggest disappointment is that it looks like Junipher Greene's Friendship and NO Prudence albums at all will be in the top 10. That is a godamn travesty imo!

To me this forum and Alex's MPNews page on Facebook have taken over the function that G35 once had. But please keep the archives! I remember accessing them earlier this year, lotsa fun stuff and memories that needs to be kept!
November 3, 2011 at 10:00 in reply to: Motorpsycho feat. Ståle Storløkken @ Nidarosdomen, Trondheim 02.11.2011 #20556Cliffnotes: The venue dictated what MP & Ståle could play, because of the extreme 8-10 second echo inside Nidarosdomen. So they had to slow things down, no "fast-fast punk" quote Bent.
Ståle said that he is really fond of "strange & seemingly impossible projects".
Snah only said the thing I mentioned in my previous post
Bent again: "It's abstract sound research". Use the venue for what it's worth, so they put up extra drums and amps 150 metres away from where they were performing, to get a fuller sound.

Funny trivia: Snah unregistered from being a member of the Norwegian State Church shortly before they got the offer to play Nidarosdomen
