Actually, Iggy and the Stooges are also playing at Øya. But that will not be a Raw Power show. Which is fine by me, because I want to hear some Funhouse and Kill City songs too
Sorry Mo, but they’ve already stated several times that the Timothy’s show @ Øya is a one-off thing.
They are however negotiating with NRKP3 about recording. Not sure if it’ll be video or audio only.
Might as well post this here as well:
Some pics from Storsjöyran here
Lol@ the ending credits: “Kenneth Knapstad”
Apparently he died this weekend from cancer. He was 59 years old.
And Bent & Snah played with him in 2006: I Believe To My Soul
Quote:Bummer! Will it be too positive to hope NRK stream the Øya-performance?
According to this, NRK and MP are still negotiating a potential recording/broadcast of Øya.
Nice preview article here
Here’s final proof that the concert will NOT be broadcast on NRK:
The big question now is: When will the pre-order start?
I´m going to Øya (the entire festival, actually)
But on Saturday I´ll mostly be in the park because there´s a bunch of other bands besides MP that I want to see.
Besides, if you´re 18 years old, the bartenders at Øya are more than happy to serve you beer
Weee, I’m definitely gonna pre-order from Rune this time
Cochs Pensjonat seems nice. But after looking over the prices, I can say that Anker still is a bit cheaper… If price matters that much.
You won’t find anything cheaper than Anker Hostel in Oslo AFAIK. At least not that sort of accomodation.
The cheapest is probably another psychonaut’s couch
Nope, a pass for the whole festival is 1940 NOK. But those passes are sold out.
One-day pass is 700-ish NOK, I think. And it will be sold out soon. Friday is already sold out, and Saturday is the next selling out soon.
Anker Hostel is decent, cheap and situated quite centrally in Oslo.
