Apparently, the guys smoked something good before the interview (or the interviewer did AFTER the interview!), it's quite funny. But not a word about the future…

It is Bron-yr-Aur, if you refer to the welsh town or the Physical Graffiti song, "Bron-y-Aur Stomp" if you refer to the Led Zeppelin III song, and "Bron Y Aur" if you refer to my former band :)

We'll go to studio tomorrow or tomorrow after [where "today" is the Pstereo Festival, NdT] to record new music, and the new album should be ready next year, January-february if everything goes right. Tonight we'll film the concert and we have a lot of filmed material we'd like to release, also the "DDU" concert at Opera House has been filmed, as many other similar shows. We also hope to come back in tour in Italy, probably next spring.

Q: Are you recording it here? [Trondheim NdT]

A: Yes. For the last album "Still Life…" we recorded ca. 15 songs, but we've been limited by the timings, so we didn't finish all the mixings, and only a part was done. After the release of the album, we finished the other songs, so we have 10 songs ready yet. Now we'll record new material, and I think that we'll put them all together to make a unique big album. Hope it will be coherent, should be a good album.

    …so, expecting next double LP, I'd say…

    @ Supernaut: it's "CapPuccino"! ;)

In Italy, the estabilishment and educational level still sticks the word "rock" with "drugs" and generic "depravation", so it's very hard for me just to think about any school assignment involving "rock" in any way different from "sin and -possibly- repent"!

    You lucky northern people!

Apart from this, I agree with miss_t about the MP live experience, which is exactly, and in the more objective possible way, the real difference between MP and the rest-of-the-world, much more than the discography.

Lol, the guy just on the right of Snah, quite always under the light and continuously headbanging, is me.

My double-CD compilation. Yes, most recent stuff is from Trust Us, with good reasons.

    CD1. MOTOR

    1. Sonic Teenage Guinevere

    2. President Block

    3. Mad Sun

    4. Wishing Well

    5. Flick of the wrist

    6. Junior

    7. Plan # 1

    8. Drug Thing

    9. Kill Some Day

    10. Vortex Surfer

    11. 577

    12. Back to Source

    CD2. PSYCHO

    1. The Wheel

    2. Radiance Freq.

    3. The Skies are Full of… Wine?

    4. Psychonaut

    5. Un Chien d'Espace

    6. Manmower

    7. Celestine

    8. Watersound

    9. The Golden Core

Lately, a friend requested a Kenneth-era CD. This is what I came with, but I needed to do a lot of cuts/edits/mixes to make it all fit in a CD, so it can be a little confusing…

    1. Hell pts 1 & 2! —->

    2. August

    3. Barleycorn

    4. Starhammer (without the Intothegyrish intro)

    >

    5. Whole Lotta Diana

    6. Into the Gyre —->

    7. Oh, Proteus – A Prayer

    >

    8. La Lethe

    9. Oh, Proteus – A Lament

    10. The Alchemyst

For the Baard-era, I think a 7" with Painting the Night Unreal / Whip that Ghost would be enough

Great find! And honestly one of the better-sounding recordings from those times… The vocals have ALWAYS been MP's main problem, and the mix-in-the-front is quite a standard in old radio/mixer recordings of MP.

What's unbearable is the slow streaming… our powerful national Radio/TV strikes back!

@ Spacebandit: if you have the recording you should also have the setlist!

Also, it seems like nobody here took note of that… so we'd be all very happy if you could get the setlist from the recording and post it :)

    "Un Chien d'Espace

    superstooka

    surftex

    Spacebandit

    Thomas

    Tomcat

    Roland

    Jazzy

    Ivan

    Structurotron

    fillmore"

LOL I overlooked the thread and thought it was the setlist… Lots of questions came to me!

Reine acted like that in Bologna and in Mezzago too, so I suppose it's his normal stage behaviour, or we should suppose he's doing the wrong job :)

I'm quite sure that the second print was more than 1000 copies, or I'd sell mine for thousands Euros!
