Nah, come on. Hogwash, Home of the Brave, Blueberry Daydream, Frances, Wasted, Sister Confusion?

I also really like The Wait, even though noone else does :)

I tried asking around a baseball forum about the cover, but they couldn't identify it beyond it being a Negro League game, and that it's old..

Nothing iconic in other words. Weird :>

If you're going through Oslo some time, you should go to Neseblod Records, Big Dipper, Tiger Records and RÃ¥kk'n'RÃ¥lls. I've seen a lot of rare MP at Neseblod, Big Dipper usually has new vinyls and you can be lucky and find some used MP at RÃ¥kk'n'RÃ¥lls.

I believe RÃ¥kk'n'RÃ¥lls has a Soothe box at the moment.. I got the Sinful, Wind-borne 7" from Neseblod :)

Sound was really bad where we were standing (just behind the sound booth). Loads of feedback, guitar almost inaudible. Usually this is a very good spot soundwise. Last time I saw the band at Rockefeller we were at the exact same location, and the sound was stellar, really good. But I don't think the soundguy was the usual soundguy (or was it?), so I guess that had some impact on the quality.

For the first time I didn't go home thinking "Holy shit, that was incredible". It looked like Snah's guitar (the hollowbody with a wood finish) was tuned wrong or something because he seemed to be searching for the right chords constantly while playing it, which resulted in a lot of sour notes. I could be wrong. The jams also seemed to go on forever, and it looked like they struggled to get out of them and finish the songs, at times.

But still! Starwheelhammer was amazing, so was Whole Lotta Diana, Leslie's Vest, Neanderthal and Greener. And it was cool to finally see Gullible's Travails live. It's a different GT from the record, obviously, but I thought it was good :)

And it's always a blast to see Kenneth perform. He's got so many little fills and crooked rhythms going on!

"Way too many … stoner-prog songs"

I don't think this is possible, actually :D

That's true about commercial benefits, Crackpot. I hadn't thought about it that way. Good point.

It would be wrong to use forum members' money for personal (company) gain. I'll rethink this whole forum money thing :)

But I still do want to make a video for free! We'll find a way. If the band will allow us, of course.

Cool that you like the video concept by the way!

Yes, of course. But it would be a nice gesture :)

Paging Vegard B. to the thread!

I can't see otherdemons posts when I'm logged in.

Have I managed to ignore him? If so I didn't mean to.

If not, something is wrong :)

No, I bought all the add-ons for Hipstamatic. I'm such a trend whore.

I think I used the Float film and the Bettie XL lens for that shot :)

The pics are from an iPhone 4 using Hipstamatic. It lets you choose different film types and lenses to get these crazy results :)

Good show last night! Similar jams to what I've heard from the recordings from London, Starhammer->The Wheel->Starhammer is a great combo. And the new songs are proggy tunes, cool stuff :)

                                  Also: MOUNTAIN! :D
