Marcel: I might be way off here ,but i think that the whole “only vinyl” deal can be somewhat of a kick towards the whole “it’s free, so let’s just download it” ideology that’s taking place nowdAYS, and is slowly killing the music business. So (imo) to upload the vinyl for others to download, would be spitting on the whole point behind this release.
Perhaps i was out of line with the whole “grow a brain” comment. But it just pisses me off that some ppl don’t seem to understand what a devastating effect this has (and will continue to have) on the music indusrty! Keep cool, and enjoy it WHEN you can. And remember…..20 uears ago, this wasn’t even an issue. Let’s keep it that way shall we….

But one important (imo) question remains…How long are theese songs?
I Second that Ratmaus! No new info at all there. Can’t wait for a more detailed review as soon as our fellow nauts get their headphones off and decide to spend a few minutes in here….if they can that is. My bet is that the album is so cool that they can’t put it away, even for a second.
Hmmm….too bad that so many have got them, but nobody wants to share the goodness, becides the usual “it’s great” statement. How long are the songs? What’s the best one? Are there any bad songs on it?? etc etc

Listening to the Forum gig right now. From October 2008. And it’s pretty spacy stuff. So i must disagree with your statement about them skipping the psychedelics. Plus the LLM tracks are pretty spacy as they are on record, so i would imagine it’d be kind of hard to space them out further. As for Snah singing more, i think this is nice. He’s gotten much better with the years, and now sings best of the two of them (in my opinion)
Paolino: I suspect you’re joking, but i don’t really think so! It was probably written and recorded long before MJ died.
Otherdemon: I don’t think The waiting game is a “Home recording” per say. From what i could gather from the info, it’s the only song on the album recorded in Norway (at home)
That song they played there sounds mighty cool. Too bad those freakin’ morons in the audience couldn’t shut up (this was also mentioned as a problem in the Lydverket Review)
thanks man! I’ll certainly check it out. Being somewhat of a musician myself, i find myself struggling with the production side of things. Frankly i’m sort of a noob when it comes to this. So there’s probably many factors which i haven’t taken into consideration when comparing those two albums. But like written in my first post; I was abit drunk, and felt the urge to point out the big difference between those two albums. That being said..i hope for a cleaner sounding Child of the future.
