That's "Halleluwah" by Can (off of their classic masterpiece "Tago Mago"). It has been a staple inside almost every "Hogwash" played since spring 2008. I am suprised this tease / quote has stayed with us for so long and so steadily. And while very cool, especially when Snah articulates the lyrics well, I am beginning to wish he would take the jam to another place again…
For info on Motortrades compare this thread!
…and many more great pics, incl. great close ups of Snah
"Mountain > Nothing to say" from Madrid:
So they played "On a plate" ("Leslie's vest") BEFORE "Neanderthal"? Because the setlist has it the other way around and with a segue between the two.
But we have a recording of that one (the one mentioned above) and Jürgen always gets the facts and statistics right
HOLY SHIT, awesomeness! The Motorpsycho power rock trio on a bare bones backline spacing away on "Hogwash" in Madrid:
Oh and of course: We don't have a running time (recording) for all the shows. We have the setlists though and while is pretty easy to at least determine if the show was 2,5h+ with them in some cases they might contain one of those rare extremely long shows.
I haven't even heard the acoustic stuff yet and I am already blown away. "Close your eyes" is deep, dark and bleak, "KDH > Hallucifuge" is the total powerhouse with an amazing transition, "Landslide" is different, beautiful and Snah shines on the guitar work here! "Starhammer" has quite a different jam as well, just a funky Snah showcase instead of the group jam and this is one sexy "Hogwash" afterwards…
So they actually never played three hours or longer (I always thought the Pisa show broke the 3h-mark but then I checked my notes and it even said only 170 min). This goes to show that the notoriously reported myth "that the band always plays three hours or longer" is indeed really off…
What about the Holland 1999 concerts? We have incomplete recordings that are up to 150 min long and at least one of them misses "Superwheel and "Vortex surfer" as far as I remember (those were the concerts with 45-50 minute versions of "K9").
Wow, WHAT A SHOW! I am not even halfway through listening — a beautiful "Landslide" that even surpasses the RWIV version is playing now — but already there were too many highlighst to mention them all.
And here is a picture from Barcelona 14.04.2011 (by Joep Schreurs):
Yeah, here is the setlist picture, quite a sweet one:
It appears they actually changed the setlist:
14.04.2011 – La Ovella Negra (Megataverna Del Poble Nou), Barcelona, Spain

Notes: Motorpsycho's second concert in Barcelona after debuting in the city on 18.04.2002. This concert was originally scheduled for Rocksound but was moved to a new location on the day of the show due to technical problems. While the new venue is a "megataverna" aimed for a tourist crowd the band plays in a small cellar with an okay sound. There are some travelling psychonauts from Holland, Italy and Norway in the crowd. There was no backstage so the band is hanging out in the concert room before and after the show. They change the actual setlist: The encores "Nothing To Say " and "Mountain" are being played at the end of the main set and they omit "All is loneliness". The actual encores "You lied" and "Black to comm" are not on the setlist. This show rocks like hell!
Thanks to Joep Schroers from Holland for the update!
