After last night I think Ingvald can handle anything. What an amazing drummer, my god. I really hope he becomes the new permanent drummer. Incredible drummer. He can rock hard but can also play very jazzy. Lady May and Sentinels for instance, wow. Also, he did some vocals. Most Incredible moment for me was the female vocal part in Gullible’s Travails. Also during Arne Hassle he added a nice extra vocal layer to the chorus. Awesome. And then he also plays some keys.
I absolutely see your point but man, Inside Looking Out was incredible last night! What a way to finish a concert!
Yes, totally amazing gig!
Awesome setlist! How was The Ladder?
@Marc: on YouTube there are two videos, one called Motorpsycho Tour 2014, the other one Motorpsycho Here Be Monsters 2016 tour report. Both highly entertaining and interesting videos. In one of them (I forgot which one) you can see Bent teaching one of their songs to Reine backstage. My guess is they work out parts backstage and perhaps in the nightliner and then rehearse during soundchecks.
See you in Zwolle WILHELMSTROKER. I’ve seen them once before in Hedon and loved it. Nice venue! Modern but cosy.
Thanks for the report!
Me too! But, I am really hoping for some more long jammy songs as the Wheel.
So the European leg of the tour starts tonight! With Ingvald instead of Olav and no Reine. What to expect? Different songs? More epics? More jamming? Will there be acoustic guitars? Exciting!
I’ve seen King Buffalo at the Sonic Whip festival in Nijmegen earlier this year. Amazing!!
Damn this is amazing, thanks! Totally agree with Jero. I really like Reine’s playing, take Whip That Ghost. Wow!
Bummer you can’t go man! Good luck with the move.
I am bringing my 17 year old daughter to the Hedon gig. She is looking forward to it very much!
A Motorpsycho gig with 21 songs (22 on the setlist), wow! That’s a lot! Lots of old and new favorites of mine. Nice setlist!
Thanks for the report Devotional, very interesting read. Let Them Eat Yay! tour was indeed what I thought. This is such an interesting phase for the band.
