Nice! Looking forward to it
Quote:on what will be available on the forthcoming AADAP BoxIs this official (yet?) or just wishful thinking and/or rumors?
ah ok, I thought the slash in …PÃ¥l BrekkÃ¥s/Tos… was just a typo.
According to the review, the band was BS, HMS, Tos and Pål Brekkås.
This guy I guess
Quote:ring modulators and stuffSounds promising! Hopefully this will bear fruits and turn into an album and/or roadworks. When the world of drummers sleeps.
Now, can I afford another tr.heim trip?
Tempted…
*opens wallet*
*starts crying*
Is it just the dynamic duo who´s playing? Anybody knows?
Quote:Time for an update! As you all know we introduced Hallvard Gaardløs aka. The Kid on bass for the Spidergawd III release tour, as Bent was busy with Motorpsycho work.
Well, there is no sign of less work for both bands in the future, so after three albums with Bent we now introduce Hallvard The kid Gaardløs as the new bassplayer in Spidergawd!
For those who did'nt meet the bass prodigy from Toten, Norway, yet definatley have something to look forward to. Not only is he an excellent musician, but also the most charming kid ever.
We're sure he'd be happy for a little welcome applause.
That said, we'd like to thank Bent for all the great music we've made together, all the fun tours and gigs we've laughed our way through, and, as we always state; made it possible for Spidergawd to reach out to all of you in such a short time.
We will drink an underberg on that one soon enough.
– Spidergawd
I like this: "Well, there is no sign of less work for both bands in the future…" I guess the theatergig is a sign of "no sign of less work", but still, jey!
Spidergawd can lose Bent without losing any momentum, but would be nothing, NOTHING I TELL YOU, without KK. I guess one of Bents biggest contributions was Spidergawds quick access to a lot of mp fans
And Motorpsycho will do just fine without Kapstad… :STG:
It probably doesn´t mean anything. It´s not the offical motorpsycho facebook page that´s posting the images… nice pictures though
Quote:"Go around once"??? What's that? What did I miss?B-side to the spin, spin, spin 7"
Sorry I can´t help, but how could you guys miss out?! Vol 2. was for sale for about a month, pluss the tour, and unlimited as well (while it was for sale). Never leave the internet!
That said, I bet there are, and will be quite a few more when those who ordered 5 copies get their 5 copies in august or whenever, for sale on discos
Quote:Please, can somebody translate this to English? Is not much, a brief history on when he joined and short recap of the bands post.
Pluss a few comments from Bent:
We're done with what we should do together and end the game before anything goes wrong, writes Bent Saether in an sms to Adresseavisen.
– Everything is straight and there is no drama anywhere, but we need to spend some time trying to figure things out in terms of the future.
– Theatre rehearsals is underway and are going to work anyway. Scary and refreshing and sad and healthy at the same time, writes Saether , and ends with " que sera sera " ( what happens, happens).
Kenneth Kapstad and Bent Saether played previously together in another trøndersk band Spidergawd, but Saether quit by New Year. As far as Adresseavisen knows Kapstad is still Spidergawds drummer.
Kenneth Kapstad has not wanted to comment on the matter
Quote:should go all Sunn O))) and shithaha, yes! Never mind the drummers, get deathprod back!
I guess/hope they´ll continue to play with each other in Møster! and Spidergawd (or is Bent out of spidergawd for good?)
yeah, weird, I had this feeling to since I heard in one of the interviews that they lived in different cities (Kenneth in Oslo I think). He was such a force, but then again, so was Geb and I´m sure whoever comes in next will put his own stamp on motorpsycho.
Sail on Kapstad, Motorpsycho and psychonauts, it´s been a blast! Looking forward to the next phase.
Always in motion is the future, but motorpsycho great records still make will.
Quote:Motorpsycho are not famous for repeating themselves []And thank the rock gods for that.
But, I feel that those new songs are built with the same tools, but sadly don´t reach quite the same heighs in epicness. Big black dog is like vortex surfer mixed with the wheel, but I´m not complaining, as i said, it was more or less pure gold
Hey, I´m a 90s kid.
Quote:I'm pretty sure HBM1 = The 6 first tracks of the album.Oui.
Very nice show, as expected. It´s motorpsycho, what can go wrong. I haven´t seen Folken this packed at a MP concert since the Geb days. Nice combination of new and old songs, though somewhat predicable setlist for those whose follow this forum.
"Running…" gets a bit boring live (I think it great on the record) and Glow and Jig are in the "meh…*shrug-shoulders*" category of MP songs.
STG was an early highlight and from Superstooge and out it was more or less pure gold. Watersound was really beautiful with Bent on guitar and snah on synth. Feedtime is goodtime nostalgia psychometal and it would be even more fun if they followed it with another metalclassic (read: Sheer profundity). It feels a bit out of place as the only metal MEEETALLLL! song, but still, great fun! And LOUD.
Sonnyboy gaybar
Hogwash was on fire!
Big Black Dog and HBM are epic and massive closers and whem they enter krautland on HBM….Ã… JADDA DU!
(But Vortex Surfer / K9 / The Wheel / The Golden Core they are not)
