Probably no AI, but well-researched handwork? I like those images of retro-futuristic trashy tv-series and b movies though – fits the whole Gaia II theme and vibe…

I find it somewhat absurd when Bent laments Tomas’ alledged unwillingness to identify with (and learn?) the whole MP back canon, but ends up with a freelance drummer (or two), who might naturally be even less inclined to do so. (Though Ingvald can play anything and Olaf has shown remarkable progress during last year’s tour & summer festivals).

I hope (and am sure) MP will soon get bored with repeating the same one or two classics and dig out some more. Though I wouln’t like to miss stuff like “Pacific Sonata”, “Lacuna Sunrise” or “Lady May” – they should keep those at any cost.

This is brilliant! Hats off to everybody involved.

Thanks, Bernie! Looks the stage lights got a little in the way of filming, but never mind – could be worse…
              Cheers ;-)

Motorpsycho remains contradictory to the core (that’s why I love them) – the press release to the new album emphasizes the strength of early 70s recordings due to less formatted style, yet the new tunes already available are just that – rather strictly formatted rock songs. And will the new album with its outer space title and theme be the one where the musical space adventures miss entirely? Just wondering…

                  @ Bernie:
Can we expect some more of the Sint Niklaas videos in the future, or did you leave them out for quality reasons?

Looks good. Sounds interesting. Costs too much again (delivery!). So I’ll probably have to wait till the Düsseldorf or Aschaffenburg concert and get my copy there.

Yep – just researched Cory Frye myself now. Some Psychonauts obviously pick up Bent’s public statement humour and style by osmosis (or ear-mosis? metamorphosis? Thutmosis?). Or probably some of us just share a similar cultural background or mindset, defined by the earth’s position in an outward arm of a rather insignificant spiral galaxy in the cosmos…)

So – Hedvig Mollestad, Thomas Pynchon & Olaf Olsen in (re-)union with our Motorboys? That can only spawn a cosmic conspiracy chaos epic like “the gravity invasion of the black monoliths from planet V”. Sounds interesting…

Don’t unterestimate your efforts, Bernie! Worth alone for the brilliant “Lady May” – not to speak of these other tunes from the soundboard & your lenses…
                          So thank you once again!

Wow! Fellow deadhead, fellow psychonaut & probably THE most important coordinator & DIME uploader of all those MP live recordings (beside Jürgen, of course). Missed to meet him in person a few times, but was in contact via mail from time to time. You will be missed! Say hello to Jerry & Lemmy.
                            R.I.P Spacey!

@ zomzom82: Obviously upload still in process. If you go to “show all files” half of the show is listed in the meantime.
Hats of to Joecoco for his services. Just sent him the files the other day.
Btw.: Would be helpful if those Dime uploaders could send him the music directly. My dime ration is slowly going down, as the upload function is well – defunct – for me (browser or security issues, I guess).
Any other Dime customers: feel free to do the same or please upload your treasures directly to archive.org – in the end it is the only download space sanctioned by the band themselfves.

Did they watch “Un chien de Kubrick”? Probably not – but still… Hey, it’s great to be so much in tune with your favourite band!
Hopefully the ole AK9 gets another airing on the next tour then.

Probably a permanent two-drummer-solution? Or a three-drummer-King Crimson line-up? Just joking – all’s good as long as they don’t employ an Arthur Brown/Kingdom Come-Style primitive drum machine. They came pretty close on N.O.X. though ;-)
