I always knew Genesis were a pompous bunch of lazy sods – two people is enough for that kind of music ;-)

New Temple Fang album “Lifted from the Wind” will be released by Stickman Records on 04/25.
One long track “The River” is already available on Bandcamp:

Back in January a young band from Bergen played a small gig here in Dresden. They are called Fucales and I had never heard oft them before. Since the show I have been listening to their album quite a bit. It’s really well done. They are a bit all over the place genre-wise while at the same time having their own recognizable voice. I’m getting 90s-MP-vibes here and there.

That “genesis – supper’s ready” guy is Antoine Baril who used to be in The Musical Box, a great tribute band that plays early Genesis. Seen them twice. Highly recommended!

Yup! Off to see them do the ’72/’73 show next month. It will be my fourth time seeing them. They are superb!

I guess that most, or all of you missed out on Norwegian band Rooftops & Satellites’ debut album Last Chance Diner. I think that there might be one or two people on this forum that might like this band, and now they have cut one nice video of their song Devil Takes Care from their last gig, with sound from soundboard.

If you don’t like it, never mind, thanx for the attention 🙂

                  Check the video here!

Released on Friday just gone, the debut album from Sevendials – ‘A Crash Course in Catastrophe’ – brings together Big Paul Ferguson, Chris Connelly and Mark Gemini Thwaite, between them boasting a pedigree comprising Killing Joke, Ministry, The Mission, Revolting Cocks, etc. For some reason, they have chosen to cover a Sparks song (‘Number One Song in Heaven’) on which I wonder how they could have hoped to top the original. (It’s not a bad stab, but what’s the point?) Otherwise, the album might make for interesting listening. Here is ‘Zodiac Morals’:

Three weeks ago, I did a live jam for the film “Koyaanisqatsi” together with friends from other bands. We jammed through the film in a rehearsal room a couple of times, agreed on transitions and hoped for the right spirits playing it live :-)
After 2019, where we did a similar thing for the film “Fantastic Planet”, this was the second time we ever played together.
Unfortunately, Youtube blocked half of the footage because of the projection. However, we recorded everything straight from soundboard and we’ll defnitely release the whole 85-minute ride in one form or another.
You’ll hear influences of Loose, Can, Neu!, Tortoise, Swans, Goat, Nels Cline and, obviously, Motorpsycho (You might tell by the crescendo around the 14min-mark haha).
Excuse the blasphemy, but this is the closest I’ll ever get to roadworky travails and it made me really happy :mp: We enjoyed it and I hope you do too!
