While I am in full support of people's right to protest, the so-called "Freedom Convoy" very quickly became infiltrated, supported and funded by far-right groups in the US and in Canada – and those people I most certainly do not support.
As a former Canadian citizen and resident of Ottawa I have many friends in the city who have witnessed firsthand the influence and presence of far-right movements in the convoy including the presence of swastikas and confederate flags as well as known far-right agitators and political figures. Friends of mine, some of whom are involved in eco-protest movements and have themselves faced up to Ottawa's police, have also been involved in counter-protests to rid the city of the convoy – a convoy which represents an extremely small percentage of (a) Canadian citizens and (b) Canadian truckers. So although the police may have acted badly, the situation is far from black and white. To me it just looks like one bunch of political actors (the government) having a fight with another bunch of political actors (far right movements and agitators), and that the most important aspect of the movement (to voice concerns about over-reaching control) has been captured by people with rather more unsavoury ideologies.
And just to be clear, I also do not support the use of force by police or governments in confronting protesters if the protesters are non-violent. But then again, I do think it's right to confront far-right, swastika-waving racists.
I also support Thomas's statement that this forum is not the place to attack or confront Bent, especially since this whole thread is based on comments he made a year ago, and while you have continued to make your statements over and over again, he has not responded. It seems to me that you're doing what English people call flogging a dead horse. He hasn't responded so far, so I'd say you're wasting your time trying to call him out.

And as they may see it through their usual biased urban – say, left-wing mono-cultural view, most of them are quick to denounce the whole movement as "far-right, swastika-waving racists". But the predominant majority of the "Freedom Convoy"-activists have nothing to do with that.
Such a defamation is perfidious, cheap and malignant. It would be the same deceitful framing to denounce every left movement as a communist goon squad, just by the appearance of half a dozen Antifa-idiots.
Oh, maybe you are one of those who calls everyone a "far-right, swastika-waving racist" just because they have different opinions than yours. Well, then this says nothing about them, but everything about you.

Also he mentions they were working on new material all along, so I'm looking forward to listening to new stuff.
There is a new album scheduled for summer release, according to the BIO section of the band's website: "the band also recorded new music with Helge Sten in Amper Tone studio in Oslo in August [2021], and this material is currently being mixed for a new album, again by Andrew Scheps. ETA on this album is summer 2022."
I agree Boomer – would be great if it came out in time for the tour.
