The band posted this image on instagram along with a date, November 14. Any ideas what it could be? New album? Re-issue? There seems to be a comic or something cartoony faintly visible in the background.
This is what we know so far. Remember what they wrote on their socials after the mini-tour to South-Eastern Europe a few weeks back: “A few weeks of relative downtime awaits us (well, all is relative – much COTF and Ahsol Caravan shipping to do next week!), before the big announcement of our next globe shagging success 😉There’s never a dull moment in the Psychoverse, boys & girls!”

Appears to be a single, or perhaps an album, called Fanny Again, Or. Is that supposed to be a play on Love’s Alone Again Or?
According to an Instagram post I saw it’s a single being released tomorrow. I hope tomorrow also is the start of the preorder of a new album. We’ll see.
There is a certain type of male archetype that seems to never disappear. The self-obsessed, blustering, overconfident buffoon that is seen as extremely charismatic by some, but makes life difficult for everyone else, is a well known cliché, and results from his actions are predictably almost never benefiting anyone but him, if he’s lucky.
George Armstrong Custer seems to have been one, but these guys all resemble each other. There are e.g. several in modern populist politics, and the idea of being at their mercy is not something we, who are immune to his charm, are able to cherish.
‘Long Hair’ was a bit of a chancer who got himself and his brother and several hundred others killed at Little Big Horn. Is there a Big Horn awaiting these new Fannys and their followers too? What will these last stands be?

I like this one better than I thought I would. Thought this was going to be straightforward cock-rock (which is one of my least favorite musical aspects of MP). But it had solid riffs, unusual melodies and a standard A+ solo by Snah in the middle.
