Had to edit this post several times – just fucking unbelievable! Just when I started to get only very slightly disappointed by the last album they come up with this! MP at their best!!!
Wow, once again they sure don’t rest on their laurels! This sounds nothing like anything else from the Thomas era. Very Floydian at times, droney, spacey, kraut-y and psychedelic, but then lots of other things happen. Around the 9-11 min mark of the second new track they sound closer to a 97-98 live sound than I have heard them ever since! Me likey very muchy.
In fact, that setlist…Cosmoctopus, N.O.X. and then the new track (presumably that is the new song #2 from Youtube since setlist says New Long Song)…that’s pretty far out for the first part of the show!
Yes, the "New song 2" from YouTube is "Ny lang" (New Long) from the start of the set (and starting off the first night), while "New song" is "Ny halvlang" (New medium long) with the King Crimsonic first part.
After listening to the Youtube-clips of those 2 new songs, it looks like
they actually reworked the Røykebur theme from the Begynnelser play in the
first new song:

ny halvlang is just amazing. really got goosebumps already. can imagine it to be a really huge song on an album. very floyd or crimson. incredible.
