fellow German psychonauts, I’m considering doing 2 or 3 dates in Germany for this tour. What would be the easiest/smoothest set of dates if travelling by train?

I was in Hamburg earlier this week so I might just skip it to do some tourist stuff in other cities in between shows.
The Hannover – Bielefeld – Cologne could be a good run, especially if I manage to do the 2 Belgian dates before.If you intend to travel by train, the Flixtrain is a good alternative to the DB.
Tickets between Hanover and Bielefeld and Bielefeld and Cologne currently cost 6 euros.Thanks for the tip
I only have limited experience with the German railroad (or railroad in general, don’t even know what’s best to use between Belgium and Germany), and everyone around me keeps saying it’s a terrible network in Europe.@ crunch: European railroad is generally fine – but the German railroad unfortunately has become rather unreliable in the last years. Delays abounding, chaotic train management. You always get another train if you miss your connection, but still you should plan in enough spare time for travelling.
Flix train is a private company covering only a few central connections in Germany, but at very reasonable prices.
Flix trains are going from selected regular railway stations, but of course depend on the availability of the railway network, so depend on German Railway with respect to reliability.Thanks again. Fuck it. Tomorrow I’ll book tickets for 2 Belgian and 3 German shows. I know and met many psychonauts following the band for a good leg of their tours, never done that myself, now that I live far away and don’t have much shows anymore, it’s maybe time to do this for once in my life.
Probably there will be no Dutch dates due to receding interest – but I think that’s unlikely. More likely MP adapt their announcement policy to the vividness of their audiences. Reportedly the Dutch audience is rather mellow (due to certain substances, I guess). But then Italy should be announced first ;-)
