Wohow! SLIFT! Grrreat Performance! Up to the point the singer starts to scream. Slightly damages the greatness of the music imho. What happened to good old singing? But still…
March 17, 2024 at 18:16 #42621I love Slift. The new album is amazing. Saw them last year at Sonic Whip and I will be seeing them again thursday in Groningen. Incredible band.
April 3, 2024 at 09:22 #42637Yes!!! Really grrreat performance by Slift. And really grrreat performance by the surprisingly support, too!!! A phantastic band from Norway, called Kanaan. I believe, I´ve seen the face of the amazing drummer anytime before – maybe last year in Aschaffenburg, or in Reutlingen, or in Oldenburg… He looks a little bit like the guy in in Johnny´s “those were the days”-video
April 4, 2024 at 08:59 #42638Forgotten to say: At the double-show in Stuttgart, the guitar player from Slift joined Kanaan for 1 song. (a long and a great one)
April 5, 2024 at 23:44 #42640No mention of this yet?
Jonathan Saether plays in this band.
April 6, 2024 at 09:14 #42641Thanks! I like this. Gives me some Frances/Babylon mood
April 22, 2024 at 17:21 #42688Great stuff from Skræng!
Another one from everyones favourite neighbourhood – on the roof of everyones favourite brewery.
(The album ‘ Bedmonster´s Groove’ is also released in a very limited golden edition through Stickman Records)April 22, 2024 at 18:44 #42691Trondheim must be one of the most boring cities in the world – given the amount of excellent music coming from there in the last two decades ;-)
April 22, 2024 at 19:08 #42692I think it’s just something they put in the beer, boosting creativity
Funfacts: I Like to Sleep have their base at Nyhavna (New harbour) just across the corridor from Nyhavna Studio, which is Geb’s old Das Boot Studio run by new guys (you can see them in the video). The links are close here.
April 24, 2024 at 23:24 #42708Might be the wrong thread, but here’s my band! We’re really inspired by Motorpsycho, so I hope you can hear something you like in this performance:

This is excellent
April 25, 2024 at 13:23 #42711” Dødsego ” – sounds great. Just listened a few minutes, but I am shure, I would like to see this band live!
April 26, 2024 at 14:31 #42727I Like To Sleep sound really intriguing, I have to check out more of their music. Thanks for the hint.
Also, to expand on the fun facts: In the aerial shots of the video you can see Dora 1 just across the street – the huge chunk of concrete right by the water. That is the old submarine bunker where Motorpsycho used to have their rehearsal space in. Or maybe they still have, I don’t know.April 27, 2024 at 19:08 #42734Fantastic new concert of Jaga Jazzist with KORK (Norwegian Radio Orchestra)!
“One of Norway’s strongest jazz bands turns 30 and celebrates big with KORK in Store studio”

May 6, 2024 at 22:50 #42773Thanks for the nice comments, guys!
And I liked Skræng, haha! Definetily an early MP vibe going on, but really jangly, raw and imperfectionistic. I dig it
