Back in January a young band from Bergen played a small gig here in Dresden. They are called Fucales and I had never heard oft them before. Since the show I have been listening to their album quite a bit. It’s really well done. They are a bit all over the place genre-wise while at the same time having their own recognizable voice. I’m getting 90s-MP-vibes here and there.
That “genesis – supper’s ready” guy is Antoine Baril who used to be in The Musical Box, a great tribute band that plays early Genesis. Seen them twice. Highly recommended!
I guess that most, or all of you missed out on Norwegian band Rooftops & Satellites’ debut album Last Chance Diner. I think that there might be one or two people on this forum that might like this band, and now they have cut one nice video of their song Devil Takes Care from their last gig, with sound from soundboard.
If you don’t like it, never mind, thanx for the attention 🙂

Released on Friday just gone, the debut album from Sevendials – ‘A Crash Course in Catastrophe’ – brings together Big Paul Ferguson, Chris Connelly and Mark Gemini Thwaite, between them boasting a pedigree comprising Killing Joke, Ministry, The Mission, Revolting Cocks, etc. For some reason, they have chosen to cover a Sparks song (‘Number One Song in Heaven’) on which I wonder how they could have hoped to top the original. (It’s not a bad stab, but what’s the point?) Otherwise, the album might make for interesting listening. Here is ‘Zodiac Morals’:
