May 20, 2017 at 12:24 #30194May 22, 2017 at 08:25 #30195Still good seats available for the Konserthuset-gig. I'm a bit surprised.
I thought everyone, like me, had been waiting for a seated MP-show for 20-years?
Yes, the Opera-show was great, but not a proper Motorpsycho live show. I'm really looking forward to this. Probably an intermission (toilet break) and you can drink from proper glasses and the serve decent wine.
May 22, 2017 at 09:01 #30196May 22, 2017 at 13:41 #30197@ijustpop: Got my tickets. Seeing them sitting down for a regular gig should be interesting. The Wheel works fine for a sitdown gig, but what about Walking on the Water? Perhaps they will do a sitdown setlist? A sitlist?
May 22, 2017 at 18:04 #30198sitlist indeed! What would be the ultimate sitlist?
May 23, 2017 at 07:00 #30199My ultimate sitlist would be:
Wishing Well
Before the Flood
The Wheel
Trixeene (acoustic)
Babylon (The Tussler)
What If
B.S.
Landslide
My Best Friend
Upstairs – Downstairs
Coventry Boy
Stalemate
Fools Gold
The Golden Core
May 23, 2017 at 09:12 #30200Finally! It has been a mystery why I should have to stand for 3 hours just because I like rock-music, while fans of other types of music (classical/opera, even some jazzgigs – with their coffeetables!) get to rest their feet.
It's nice to see that the band finally takes the consequences of having middle aged, tired fans with worn out, old legs.
My dream sitlist for the evening:
Have spacesuit, will sit
Cloudsitter
Custer's last sit-down
Sittin' with J.
Vortex Sitter
Now it's time to sit
On my pillow
And the grand finale, 38 min. majestic version of:
The Golden Chair
May 23, 2017 at 10:06 #30201what about une chaise longue d'espace?
May 23, 2017 at 12:38 #30202They could also do an acoustic rendition of The Other Other Stool.
May 23, 2017 at 12:54 #30203I guess "The Wheel(chair)" is too much to hope for?
May 23, 2017 at 13:02 #30204I am literally on the edge of my chair with anticipation, Aubrey.
Another classic I haven't heard in a while is Dr. Hoffmans Bicycle Seat..

I'm seriously starting to feel that way, too. 3 hours do go into my back nowadays. Just glad I don't have to be standing onstage with heavy gear on.
May 23, 2017 at 13:34 #30206Being on stage is surprisingly not as tiring as standing in the crowd
