From the german site "plattentests.de":
Motorpsycho
The Crucible / 15.Februar (Stickman Records)
Crucible (engl.)
Tiegel / Schmelztiegel
Substantiv
Psychotzar (8:44), Lux Aeterna (10:56), the Crucible (20:51)
Googletransation:
Motorpsycho
The Crucible / 15.February (Stickman Records)
Crucible
Crucible / Crucible
noun
cru · ci · ble | Krü-sə-bəl
1: a strict test / stress test
2: a place or situation where concentrated forces work together to effect or influence change or development
A beautiful and accurate title that the three have chosen. Actually everything is said and you just have to listen.
An album somehow related to its predecessor "The Tower". The artwork at least indicates. But this time there are only three songs, but the song lengths show the joy of playing and especially the direction, where it goes this time:
Psychotzar (8:44), Lux Aeterna (10:56), the Crucible (20:51)
December 20, 2018 at 10:09 #34329Wow, only 3 songs, that's a surprise.
December 20, 2018 at 10:12 #34330Psychotzar – another Sabs ref? Psychotzar and Psychonaut to go along with Supertzar and Supernaut. These guys crack me up.
December 20, 2018 at 10:13 #3433140m31s… almost an EP for Motorpsycho's standards!
December 20, 2018 at 11:56 #34332Wow! Two songs on side A and one song on side B is like a classic prog rock format!
Yes @BronYAur, much like HBM this will sure feel like an EP.
December 20, 2018 at 12:13 #34333The guys are weird: in my opinion they do long albums that should've been shorter (Behind the Sun, The Tower), and short albums that should've been longer (HBM would've been their 21st century masterpiece with HBM2!).
So I have great expactations from these 40 minutes!
December 20, 2018 at 12:28 #34334@ Neil Tresor and @ BronYAur – you're mentioning HBM makes me wonder what they might have up their sleeves for a tour EP.
December 20, 2018 at 13:00 #34335@Punj Lizard: The Crucible pt. 2 EP, including The Crucible pt. 2 & The Crucible pt. 3
December 20, 2018 at 13:30 #34336@ BronYAur
December 20, 2018 at 13:58 #34337And the EP will be longer than the LP.

This is a post from Sid Smith's Twitter feed from several days back. Not so interesting in terms of information, but this and Marc's post above mean pre-release reviews will likely start coming through fairly soon.
December 21, 2018 at 12:16 #34340Presale is up on Stickman 4th of January. Ltd. silver vinyl for me
December 21, 2018 at 14:57 #34341… and Amazon dot co dot uk have their mp3 download page up and ready to go
along with 30 second samples – if you're interested in spoilers.
EDIT: Oh those samples are so tantalising
December 21, 2018 at 16:06 #34342Thx Punj. I listened to the samples. And as I guessed, it looks like Lars Horntveth
plays on Lux Aeterna
