A special Eindhoven live-album out in autumn?
Can any of our Dutch friends confirm what I think is in this article? :lol:
Four songs from Eindhoven concerts only? Self-released and with special artwork?
Or did the writer mix it up with the 4-song album with Storløkken and that orchestra?
WOW that seems to be another new live album, as far as I can read the information out of google translation!!! wowowow. hope it will be available somehow over a record shop or distribution, as i am not able to travel to that show. maybe they have it with them on the tour the following days in germany?

Wow, that's excellent news!!!! No time to translate the whole thing, but here's a start:
– it will contain 4 songs from various Effenaar show
– it will be a Effenaar release, no news on distribution or anything. It wil be on sale for the first time during the Effenaar gig on 15 oktober for 15 euros
– the release is to celebrate the 40th aniversary of the Effenaar.
– the tracklisting should remain a surprise according to the band.
– it will be a release in the spirit of the Roadwork release. Not shure it will be a real Roadwork release though. Not likely imo cause neither Stickman or Rune is involved.
– they promise 'special artwork'.

Speciale Effenaar vinyl uitgave Motorpsycho
Nu al een collectors item! Wat? Nou, een gelimiteerde Motorpsycho uitgave op vinyl, dat! Ter gelegenheid van het 40-jarig bestaan van de Effenaar en de speciale show van Motorpsycho in oktober, is besloten om het idee van Roadworks, de live compilaties van de band, eens op z’n Eindhovens te doen. De Noorse rockband heeft de Effenaar in een kleine twee decennia al 13 keer in vuur en vlam gezet en nam die shows bijna altijd op meerdere sporen op. En wie wat bewaard, die heeft wat!
Het resultaat is een sterk gelimiteerde 12†plaat, gevuld met vier nummers en speciaal artwork en is alleen te koop tijdens de veertiende show van de band op zaterdag 15 oktober. Het bijzondere ‘Effenaar-album’ gaat 15 euro kosten, zal in eigen beheer worden uitgegeven en is dus geen officiële Roadworks uitgave. Houd de website in de gaten voor meer nieuws, zoals onder andere de tracklist van deze plak vinyl.
Wil je nu alvast zekerheid van het feit dat deze schijf bij jou in het platenrek belandt? Dat kan. Via deze link bestel je vanaf aanstaande zaterdag een ticket waarmee je het vinyl op 15 oktober tijdens de show kan ophalen. Je dient hiervoor uiteraard ook een ticket voor de show te hebben. Het vinyl is, voor de late beslissers onder ons, ook op de avond zelf te koop, maar let wel: OP=OP!
Hmmm… I'm a little confused: So from Saturday on you can buy tickets including a reservation on the vinyl – and those who already bought their tickets better be early to not miss their copy? As long as everyone can buy one copy only, it should be easy to have enough of them for everyone. FNR will be sold out with this gift most certainly, come together Psychonauts ;-}

I'm guessing it will be Kenneth-era Effenaar performances only. And they've only played Effenaar twice before with him: 28-05-2008 and 23-05-2010. Here are those setlists:

Anyone wanna guess what's gonna be on the album?
oh, that is bad fortune, as i can really not go to the show, can join the tour starting in hannover… but, i am happy for everybody who can get that album and go to the show.
Can any Dutch psychonauts tell/guide me to how I can get tickets for this+album? Google translate crapped out on Effenaar's website, and despite dutch being similar to both norwegian and german, I can't figure out what I should do to get this ticket.
You can (from next saturday) make a reservation for a copy of this album, wich you than can pick up at the show. This in combination of a ticket for the show offcourse. The albums are also available at the effenaar show without a reservation, but offcourse there is a change they run out of vinyls…..

Hallelujah! Finally they dip into the vaults a bit more. I hope this opens the floodgates to a more steady release schedule of live material…
Aaaww hell diddly ding dong crap! There's just no way I can make it to shows far away from home these days. I wish I knew someone in Eindhoven who would be interested in attending the gig, but not in purchasing this gem for themselves.
Sometimes it sucks to be a must-have-everything fan.Edit: Selfish complaints aside, the release is of course an awesome thing to do.
