Hey! Was just wondering if any of you had anymore clips from this concert? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN8z6uYYYmw
J. Munkeby on flute, thats fun!
In my opinion that was one of the worst gigs, MP ever played! I know that german TV broadcasted the whole set, so recordings should exist.
It's on Motortrades
Edit: – in two versions
Ah! Im not a member there
It might be a gig from their "lighter" phase but bad? I found it very entertaining to watch. A bunch of 70ties hippies with dreadlocks and generally long hair and Snah with his cut off pants. Not one person on stage showed any interest in any sort of hipster style presentation and they played a unique mix of westcoast boogie, somewhat melodic pop ditties and noisy jazzrock weirdness in front of say 200 enthusiasts fronting a couple of thousand festival goers scratching their heads. Actually it was MP at their own stubborn best. I remember staying up until 3am that night for the german TV broadcast.

I am too. And I like it. Nice to see them with the Jaga Jazzist Horns. A few days later they recorded In the Fishtank together, if I'm not wrong.
could someone make me a copy off the motortrade-version?
Would be nice to see.
Thnks
Nothing To Say has a big trumpet solo at this show and Black To Comm really rocks!
I always let it run in the summertime on a chilly sunday afternoon… Cool gig!
