Bent may have left Spidergawd, and Kenneth may have left Motorpsycho – but Spidergawd is still a hard rock monster. Yesterday they presented their new album IV in Per Bortens studio at SørgÃ¥rden with an earblasting concert.

They will be touring Europe in March – April. Be there!

I went to the pre-playing of the album at Moskus on Saturday. Sounded great, inspired in equal parts by Queens of the Stone Age and 70's AC/DC if you ask me.

A very fine show in Winterthur! Playful, energetic, killer show. Great musicians (Per's an amazing lead guitar player!), Rolf and Hallvard did some lead vocal duties, too. Kenneth used a smaller drumkit as usual, though he brought the big one before to that cramped stage. An outstandingly tight and fun live unit, they are.

Dresden was great too. Love the new Album, even though I got into it only after seeing them live. But now it gets deep…
