MØSTER are leaving Norway for a four night run:

THU, Oct. 31st – Berlin (D), Urban Spree
FRI, Nov. 1st – Dresden (D), Jazzclub Tonne
SAT, Nov. 2nd – Leuven (BE), SoJo
SUN, Nov. 3rd – Den Haag (NL), Musicon

Snah on guitar, Kenneth on drums, Nikolai Hængsle on bass and Kjetil Møster on saxophones + electronics (…)

Glad I can go this time – if anyone needs a lift from Düsseldorf to Leuven (Orange Factory!) on Saturday / back on Sunday = join the trip!

Really jealous about the SoJo date. Such a cool place managed by cool people. Not living in the country anymore, otherwise it’d be unmissable.

I really wish I could have come to Leuven for this. Møster! have made, and continue to make, music that appeals to me on a number of levels. The new album, Springs (certainly one of my albums of the year), is superb and I expect the shows will be memorable. I’m interested to learn what the setlists are and to hear any recordings that surface. To all those who are going to see them … Have fun!

The Dresden show was amazing. No idea about the setlist tough, Punj. Sorry, but surely the new album was played. Btw. the audience was so enthusiastic that they came out for a second encore, which was a short hard rocking song. A great show.

@boomer – sounds amazing. I’m glad you had a great show. No doubt a setlist will appear somewhere, some time. :mp:

Waking up in Leuven still dizzy & twisted after my first time seeing Møster live. That was another level. Wow. And finally visiting Sojo: What a lovely place with old-school charme and great sound & lights & views full of like minded people ❤️

Appr. 125 minutes and recorded on audio and video

Tracks played were those of Oslo in slightly changed order plus Soundhouse closing the set / Ransom as first encore (if I get my notes together correctly ;)

Have fun in The Hague tonight for those who can go :)

The Hague was fantastic too! Shorter set than Sojo where I must say the vibe in the audience helped to take the show to another level! Still feel my neck hurting!
Thanks for the support and kind words Thorsten!

This is really crazy “weird jazz” stuff. I have never seen them live but I got a recording from Oslo which will be shared on dime next weekend (I am absent for a few days, that’s why it will take some time).

I saw Møster! with Snah and Kenneth in Berlin. A very small gig for 60 people in an underground venue. Fantastic Jazz Rock between noisy and transcendent, very hypnotic. Snah was very concentrated, creating a carpet of noise behind looped sax, bubbling bass all the while Kenneth was drawing all registers from very delicate to all out Octopus-mode. They played 75 minutes without an encore. It was such a treat to get a show like that outside of Norway, just 8 minutes from my house. Wonderful!

                                  Check out my pictures here.
