OK Folks – I do not deny the Swiss the unexpected amassment of MP gigs. Enjoy!
On the other hand I feel a little disappointed that MP do neglect the south western part of Germany once more. There's the RS Festival of course, so another close gig at Freiburg or Karlsruhe probably not necessary.
Nevertheless – apart from a gig in a completely unsuited venue in Frankfurt the southern half of Germany has been almost completely spared a MP presence on recent tours. Alright – there was Wiesbaden 2016 as well. Fantastic gig. But just one(!) in Southern Germany per tour is just not enough!
Living in Cologne I cannot complain at all being served with regular Motorpsycho concerts in walking distance. But I do feel with my Southern German friends…
So let the Swiss smile blissful holes into their cheeses, but rememeber: there's still life up north across the border
BTW: What's this mini tour called? The "Rolling Stoned Tour"? The "Rolling Tower Revue"? The "Swiss Cheese Mountains Festival Express"? Or just "Step Across The Border"?
@Johnny_Heartfield: MP does by no way "neglect the south western part of Germany". It's the bookers of the clubs and venues in this area that – for whatever reason – do not book MP there for a gig. Call them! Email them!
You're probably right – for the audiences its all the same in the end. So let's petition the lords with prayer – or rather pressing demands! Should be easier after the RS shows and the expected overwhelming reviews for the live albums
As I'm not involved in that kind of business I don't have the slightest idea of the proceedings. Still I do suspect it's partly MP's booking agency that prefers to contact the ususal suspects. More intrepid exploring please on all sides!
