There is a visual side to Motorpsycho's music that's often neglected. I'm not speaking of the various attempts at concert lightshows here, but of the several cinematic MP. connections. Starting with the band's name (obvious), then there's the Tussler soundtrack (themes for an imaginary western), and of course the beloved piece alledgedly born while jamming to Bunuel's and Dali's "Un Chien Andalou".
With the latter I think they must have taken the wrong door and gone into the neighbouring movie show. I've seen several live "improvisations" to classic movies, starting from "Metropolis" to "Faust wakes Nosferatu" – not to forget Neil Young's "Dead Man" work, but seldom has it been more at hand that the band has another classic in mind when playing the "Chien" or K9-suite. For me the structure of the piace almost perfectly matches another legendary film sequence.
So I couldn't help but combine these cinematic and motorpsychedelic monoliths in a glorious 42 min. clip. I do not want to upload it on youtube or vimeo due to copyright issues – but to illustrate the topic (and for trippy recreative enjoyment and meditation) I'll offer you the links here for a short time:

Magnificent! Great work. Really nicely edited. I just watched it and will most certainly watch it again. Wouldn't it be great if Bent and Snah could see it too. Thanks.
The funny thing is I didn't have to edit too much – it really falls together into one massive sight/sound experience. Just a little time-stretching there and then – and I moved a calmer section of the trippy sequence to the front. The rest is coincidence – or sheer genious of the movie author & sound directors.

And it just fits. Watching that scene and listening to that song have always put me into the same place. Not surprisingly, obviously, but still…
After that Konserthuset 2017 post from Devotional, I'm moved to come back and say a belated thank you, Johnny, for this incredible piece of work. I wasn't a member when you posted it, so couldn't say thanks then, but it made a real impression.
I'm still wondering by what supernatural agency the sound and vision come together so very well (with just a couple of tweaks).
Other than that, I guess it's wise to say no more.
