I had a look around the Motortrades site to see what can be done. Jimbo the only administrator seems to have lost interest. So until anybody is able to get in touch with the person we are kinda stuck there.
But I did discover that I have a few invites available due to my ratio. So if anybody are interested in getting access just post your email here – in a human readable format – and I’ll send an invite.
There are a few shows on Mototrades from this years tour that have not yet been posted on dime…I find that “two camps” policy between DIME and Motortrades still quite annoying. This for me was the original reason for the “archive” idea.
As it has been done the other way round a few times it would only be fair somebody posted the Motortrades only shows (Zürich etc.) on Dime as well…
I received the Zuerich show, but I’m not going to upload that on Dime, as I got no permission to do.
Thank you again, Thor! Your invite, this thread and other conversations on here finally convinced me to go for it and get involved again with peer-to-peer – something I hadn’t done for so many years. I was on Dime a very long time ago, so I suppose my return there is inevitable now.
I also want to express my gratitude to the tapers, uploaders and all who so unselfishly make sharing this bounty possible. It helps make up for my not having been able to attend a gig since 2019. I appreciate it so much!
Now my ratio doesn’t look too good because I unwisely went and downloaded the Øya 2006 DVD, as well as three recent Ingvald shows (which sound great, by the way!), so I’ll restrain myself now and just keep my client open for reseeding.

Me, an old “warhorse” on Dime can tell you that it won’t work. The early bird pics the worm. Most traffic on a torrent is done by a day on Dime.
Just DONATE and you’ll be free of any “share ratio restrictions”.
And as you might see, I do a lot of other bands/music over there, sure MP is my fave, but there’s Colour Haze, Monkey3 or others that I’ve seen mulitple times which I also like very much.Spacey
Dime is fine, and, for some people there is no technical obstacle. Spacebandit is correct that a simple donation removes any worries about ratio.
Motortrades is fine, and again, for some people there is no technical issue as it’s the same challenge as Dime in terms of bittorrent client, etc.
Having both sources for shows is fine with me. I don’t mind checking both for new shows, and both are, hopefully, not going to go away any time soon!
Still, it would be nice to consider a central source of information about shows that would benefit the community. I have been wondering whether it is possible to merge the MPDB.be WP site with this forum. I think there are opportunities to be had with a merger.
