    hi

i found a guitar while cleaning out the attic, and since i don’t know the first thing about playing one, i thought i might just sell it. thing is that i can’t find this one anywhere on the internet. i find similar guitars, but not this exact one.

then i thought of you guys. people interested in music often play themselves, so why not try here, at least i might learn something about my newly found axe. (well more like a box but who would call their guitar a box? i know i wouldn’t)

    here’s a couple pictures:

    and serial n’stuff:

anybody knows what this might be worth?

i have no clue to how old it is, but it looks really nice and has a good feel to it. even though it has no strings and there’s a part missing, i’ve been told.

    so anybody interested?

or does anybody know anything about this?

all kinds of help will be greatly appreciated.

    thnx :)

      WOO!

Well EirikPeirik, I guess that’s settled: you are gonna be a guitar player!

well, crackpot. i’m pushing 36, and i’ve got a lot of other things to do with my afternoons and weekends. i don’t think i’ll ever become a guitarist. it’s not that i don’t want to, it’s just that i can’t see myself wielding an axe. well maybe an axe, but y’know… i like yr thoughts though. and i don’t need it to get laid ;) i’m not in any kind of relationship right now, but that’s the smallest of my problems ;)

i’ll have a look at the links a little later, but i think i won’t find my guitar there. i believe i’ve combed the internet with a fairly fine tooth comb, and it is nowhere to be found :/

i’m still going to sell it, i think… or if i can’t i’ll get some strings and that little thingy that’s missing and hang it on my wall to collect dust :D

      Eirik,

I found somebody asking the same question on a Norwegian forum:

      http://forum.vintagegitar.no/index.php?t=msg&goto=212933&rid=0

I can’t read Norwegian (that well) but I have a guess that it is you!

To bad that you still want to sell it!

That’s maybe better for the guitar because it’s a ugly sight to see a perfectly good guitar hanging on a wall just for decoration purposes.

      Zen message coming up:

Once upon a time there was a tree cut down just to give it’s life to manufacture this here guitar. So why not celebrate this tree and let some good vibrations reverberate the neck and body of the guitar by strumming the strings and make it’s second life worth while.

And sell it if you need the money ofcourse.

(just out of curiosity, what are you asking for it?)

I hope that you’re problems are solved soon!

(: hehe, well, my little white lie is called upon. the poster in that link, lizzi1, is in fact the true owner, or rather finder of the guitar. same one. she’s the mother of my children…

i have no idea what to ask. that’s why i have come before you guys. i’ve found axes of this type (accoustic) and brand, but all are of a newer date. those guitars are roughly 300usd. if this one here is older, as in pre-80’s, i might want to ask a bit more. maybe around 5-700usd. this because it is really nice looking. no bruises or scratches, all the parts sit perfectly together, no twisted neck, no cracked back, no nothing. it looks almost new. but since i can’t find the exact same one anywhere on the net i haven’t got the foggiest idea what it is really worth. maybe the answer is putting it up on the bay with 300 usd as a starter and see where it ends? i dunno…

Before you put it on ebay polish* your guitar and string it up with a new set of Phosphor Bronze-strings and make some new pics.

Don’t forget to check it out yourself, you’ll never know…

      * Or ask your local music-shop for a clean-up.
