Really nice, long, meandering talk with Snah on the Gammal Maiden podcast (in Norwegian) Snah on Gammal Maiden #293.
Not a lot of detail, but some interesting pieces of news: not only have they been rehearsing around 70 songs with Stian Lundberg, but also recorded a couple of songs with him for a planned release next year.
Snah also said that, although Olaf was a stellar guy and a really good drummer doing what he does really well, they (Snah and Bent) also missed rehearsing more regularly as a band, i.e. with a drummer based locally in Trondheim.
Snah didn’t explicitly say that Stian was their new permanent drummer, but it definitively seems we can expect more Stian involvement in the future.
Sounds good to my ears.
That’s exactly what I expected – they’d miss a drummer for regular band rehearsal. So probably & hopefully Stian, or somebody else.
