i'm south of germany and got it days ago.
but that's only fair for a change. usually i seem to be the last one to get mp stuff.
edit: oh and the jig thing is so out there, makes it my fave of the 4.
Got mine too days ago. Since it is hand packed, I assume not all copies are shipped out the same day, so no need to worry (easy to say, if you already received your copy).
WTF? I thought this was a retrospective collection of song that didn't fit on previous albums from the 90's and 00's, and not scrapped songs from the last two albums. Must say I feel a bit cheated..
It was probably this: "an artefact from a could-have-been alternate timeline in the psychoverse" that got me fooled.
Songs are OK, but I don't think it lives up to the hype, so far..
The manuscripts have never been anything but new songs .. Songs that do not fit into other records in the time Reine Fiske has been with the band. But I think and hope Motorpsycho and Crispin Glover Records plans to release old songs in a new archival series …. From the Wearing your Smell release (Stickman Records)..
Songs from Voices Of Wonder Records i think unfortunately never going to be released …And thats realy sucks..In My opinion the Magical Motorpsycho years..And its Realy sad those songs will stay in The Motorpsyco arcives….There is probobly lots of goodies from those years…

I think they look and sound great. Very happy with these !
But a little confused. Are we supposed to receive 2 or 4 vinyls?
I got 2 so far. I thought Bent was saying we would get all 4 at once, or did i understand this wrong?
@otherdemon, do you already know what's on the CD?
So how is everyone liking the songs then? I've heard them all about 3 times each now, and my initial impressions are very favourable. They have a somewhat B-side "feel" to them, but quality-wise I think they are strong enough. Perhaps nothing quite as good as the best tracks from Behind the Sun, but not far behind.
I really, really like Forget It. Mockingbird is also nice. Both of those songs are lighter, poppier, but still with a MP heaviness. For some reason they remind me a little of a Timothy's Monster vibe, or perhaps more precisely Another Ugly Tune (somene else already noted how Toys rewminded them of AUT).
One Way or Another is my least favourite. A bluesy, slow/heavy but slightly morose track. The last one (forgot the name…Snake something) is pretty cool and driving.
Those are only my initial impressions, but if the quality of all 8 (9) fragments is as good as this, it will make up a very nice album.
