No problem here. I do not know what it will cost in the shop, but at the moment i can't afford any further vinyl. And it's not only the question of money, i guess you have to be quick to order a copy. Don't know how much they have in stock. Surely no 1200 pieces.

I am no hardcore collector, i didn't buy the Visitant 7" for instance. But in this case it's a different story. Without the 9th fragment "the book" feels like incomplete, last page torn out.

I wish they would have done a bubblegum cover for this Sorgenfri giveaway with "Toys" as the only title.

Thanx, it was not in any way ment to be offensive or rude, i was just wondering. Think maybe kippenhok misinterpreted it..i don't know. Anyways, yeah it's not easy to tell what the price will be, but since the original price of the mag is 100, they'll probably sell them for that + shipping maybe, that would be my guess anyway, or even better if they gave them away, wich they really should,

since you've already payed for the fragments, and this is now considered a part of it. They should actually press another 5-600 of'em or whatever, just so everyone get's the complete thing. About how many they have in stock, from what i've heard, i think u should have a pretty fair chance of getting one, if u'r out early. depends on how high the demand is though, ofc..

We paid extra for shipping ….. So "Toys" single is paid in my opinion

I find this a very strange point. I'd rather appreciate the whole 4×7" + CD thing with its beautiful artwork and unique packaging from a self supporting independent artist as it is and I'm not going into postage calculations and complaining. That'd be so odd on a lot of different levels.

They already started packaging the second batch.

It seems we'll receive it a lot earlier instead of around Christmas.

          Wohoow! :MPD:

                Hi,

I am interested in how you all have got your fragments? I mean which single in which sleeve…

Judging from the entries on discogs:

                Fragment 1+2

                Fragment 3+4

the contributor has recieved them the way I did.

But I'd say that the vinyls were mixed up in packing, because if I look at the symbols on the sleeve with the snake head (which also has the title written on what will end up as the spine of the set) I'd say that this has to hold fragments 1+2 since the pocket with the snake head will hold the very first 7".

I hope I was able to get this across right…

So which vinyl did the rest of you recieve in what sleeve?

And what would you say is the right combination of sleeve and vinyl?

                And as a bonus question:

do you think the fragments will form a book without us having to cut the fragments to make them fit?

i don't know if it's supposed to be like this, but my both singles already form a book. Just stick them together… i think the rest will work like this too… just try and you will find out…

                  #26598

Ah, you mean just stick the two non-pocket-sides together, right?

                  That might work…

I assumed that since the one sleeve has the spine-writing on it, it ought to be a wrapper for the other sleeves. That would render the second sleeve a tad too long…

But I guess I am just too curious again. Maybe I'll just wait until all parts have arrived… :-)

Yay, new shipment today from Motorpsychodelic Tunes! Thx a lot guys (& girls)!

Bent has been really busy. He alone has written 5 of 6 songs released so far.

Don't know the title of the first song (that fucking font!) but it does include the main theme

from the Rockefeller 2006 Phoots Phlower (the parts that didn't become Gullible's Travails)

The second song however is Whiskey And Rock 'N Roll. Dedicated to Johnny Winter and Willy B. I'm still not sure if it's a cover or a MP original.

They did play it a few times live in 2006 & 2012 (check out the Zappanale-recording for a weird Whiskey RNR / Ratcatcher / Hell hybrid)
