i'm so intrigued with how this will sound. new drummer and in a few months they already have a double album's worth? there sure must've been a lot of chemistry.
Rune announces a ltd Gold edition in 300 copies.
The cover is the painting "Babels t̴rn" (Tower of Babel) by the painter H̴kon Gullv̴g. Yes РI recognised the painter, but had to look up the name of the work (it's obvious but I had to make sure). And nobody put this on the cover without a deeper meaning behind it.
He also painted this one together with HÃ¥kon Bleken. That might also mean something to psychonauts.

Comes as a 180g black vinyl edition and limited (300) 180g gold vinyl edition.
Both vinyl editions come in a special 4 panel fold-out sleeve.

How did they managed to get permission to use Gullvåg's artwork?
He is one of the greatest and most interesting painters of his generation.
If The Tower is worth this treatment is going to be massive!
ooooh Alain Johannes? That would've been interesting. But anyway "Musically this is in parts the hardest album Motorpsycho has perpetrated in a while, and the material runs the gamut from short and sweet to lengthy and mean" aaah can't wait! Sadly I'm on a 2 week holiday right around the release date. :o I guess the next live shows will be highly energetic and out there!

I'm just guessing, but it's not unlikely that they've known him personally since the Fight-for-Svartlamon-days, since Gullvåg was involved in that. If so I guess it's not too difficult to get permission?
It's also interesting to note that the catalogue number on Rune is no longer "RCDxxx", but "MPCD101" – did they get their own "sub-label" (or something) on Rune?

@mybestfriend83 – That was me quoting a tweet from Stickfrau, and it was about the music from Begynnelser. Regarding this one – I have no clue. But I'm pretty sure it won't happen before the proper release.
