Same here! After our big plans and initial noodling some time ago, my mind has been occupied with thoughts concerning a dear friend of mine, and his struggle against pancreatic cancer. So i haven’t done much. Frankly, i haven’t made any music at all these past few months. Not until this weekend, when i got a burst of creativity. And the good news concerning my friend (who is on the mend now) has enabled me to pick up my guitar again.

So long story short; I’m GAME!

I’d like to contribute to the tribute! Working on a upbeat and a bit poppy version of The Wheel, miles away from the MP version(s).

Someone would have come up with it sooner or later anyway, but what I had in mind when I suggested the idea of a “vol. 2” in the first place, was that maybe some people would have a go at all the great material MP have released AFTER the first tribute album. Isn’t it a tad bit sad for a tribute album – to a band that’s alive and kicking – that everybody’s still focusing on the era up to 1998?

I’ve got “You Loose” worked out and I’m planning to make an acoustic version. So that’s one song from BH/BC covered at least. Just have to get off my ass and buy that bloody soundcard :roll:

I started playing with my version of the Wheel right before I heard about the tribute vol 2. It was not originally intended for the tribute, but it inspired me to complete the song. BUT it don’t have to be included.

Well, but now you’ve already done it and it should be a contender like everything else! I for one would love to see Akane’s version of The Nerve Tattoo on the album, too. That was something she recorded years ago, not meant for any tribute album either. Akane, are you reading this?

wow ok i can see everybody is still there;) I just wanted to mention that we are called Matadeur …. found out that there´s an asian band already called matadör;) Sooo it´s matadeur with mad sun. We are on, need some time…GBD I´m sorry for your friend!
