Any news regarding this
You need to check out Svartlamon, you might trip over the band as this is their hometurf.
Well as said before, MP have played UK many times. Lates was in London at the Garage. It have also been alot of fun but unfortunatly also very expensive. I dont belive they intace on the concerts have paid for the ferryticket across the channel let alone the crew/bus. So I gather that they have to plan this very carefully. Also on the gigs I've been to, esp in london the audience have been a lot of Norwegians as well.
They have been gettin alot of good press (Mojo, Shindig etc) but I dont think that have paid off in sales. Stickman was distributed by Cargo Records for a while (while Simon Keeler/Heads manager) worked there. I don't know if they have distribution there now. I belive Rune Grammofon is distributed there now, but I dont how much resources they have to put in a campaign in the UK and if its worth the time and expenses. But I belive if they get the oportunity they will try to get over again. by the way this is my assesment of the situation as far as I know.
If I remember correctly it was something that Knut Akselssen of Kiss Ass merchadise made. I have seen it but I dont think many was made of it
Vegard!
Various – Det beste til meg og mine venner, 2CD, JEPS/Big Dipper Records, BDRCD060
This is tribute record for Jokke. Also available as digipack (5000 ex) and 3×12"(?).
Not to sure about those 12"s was ever released, I have never seen one atleast
Well in my case it is more the expanding of the body that is the problem . I have bought a lot of band merch over the year. And MP's have mostly lasted over the year better than most other band merch. Threw away a big plastic bag with t-shirts when I moved away from Svarla'mon for over 15 years ago.
Don't remeber the first time I saw them live (def not their first gig with TRBNGR at UFFA as I was out of town that day) but I do remember the first time I saw tthem asa band. That was during the recording of Maiden Voyage as UFFA studio
And my TV did an stage apperance with them at the release party for Lobotomizer.
And they are the band I've seen live.
Nearly complete 7" collection, The Jörg Mäger Trio is missing!
